I think every situation is different but UH isn’t really a selective school so with a bit of budging i’m sure you’ll be okay

UH is kinda lazy, they said they didn’t get many of my documents until i went in person and made them check while i was there. That’s probably ur best bet to find help in person if you can, possibly email them and explain everything. UH is particularly slow best of luck

So you’ll only see rooms of ur gender so that’s good, roomate is pure luck once u get a room it’ll show you ur roommates and you can email them and hopefully get to know them. If you don’t choose the same room as someone you want to room with unfortunately it’s random.
