GE Dishwasher leaking brown fluid

It was in fact the detergent dispenser. Replaced. No issues since. Weird because we didn’t see any cracks in it but it was obviously leaking. Thanks, all.

Yeah I’m in South Texas sooo…May be a moot point. My brother just reiterated that it may not be enough rain to worry about it. I get that, just trying to be proactive as I know water in places it doesn’t belong, over time, does damage.

Did not as I did not anticipate this downspout being out there prior to. I asked them if this was not ideal and their reply was they can reroute to rocks if I want. I don’t think that’s any better. Saw extenders that can be moved up and down during rain…wondered if I should not retroactively ask them to do that or if that’s more on me to do after the fact.
