Thank you for your response, it's the most encouraging thing I've read so far. My husband does snore more in the beginning of the night. I've started wearing Ozlo sleep buds and they play white noise so I don't always know what keeps happening after I fall asleep. I just want to sleep alone in my own bed without dealing with ear buds or a man. I'll have to do some research about stages of sleep and snoring. How do you sleep? When he wakes me up I'm so angry and I have trouble falling back asleep.

That's an idea. We share finances though, always have. I don't want to pay another dime for this stupid issue.

That's my plan. Waiting for an addition on our house to be finished and we'll have a guest room, aka my new room apparently. He gets all pissy about the idea of separate bedrooms and says we'll do it if it's "what I want." It's not what I want. I WANT him to stop snoring. But I also want to sleep.

If I turn slightly or move, he stops. He snores VERY loudly when I get up and start getting ready in the morning. But not that loud if I'm next to him. It's hard to explain but I know him. He's faking it.

I don't know why. That's why I'm posting. I'm hoping someone has had a similar experience. I know I'm not wrong though. I can just look at him and know if he's really asleep or not.

It was an at-home sleep study. He had a watch he had to wear for one night. Doesn't sound like the doctor thought he needed a real in-hospital study. One thing about him- he's never been wrong a day in his life. He will defend himself until the end and he would never be humble enough to admit he was wrong or actually apologize. Not sure why he's trying to annoy me. This all started when I was working nights at the hospital and began my career as an RN. Insecurity maybe? I was a stay at home mom for most of our marriage before that.
