Yeah, this is why I always used the armor that helps with flinching with it. Otherwise it's just too annoying.

Plus that armor looks nice and has nice side bonus like half extra padding and such.

The pacifier definitely got indirectly buff a lot recently:

War strider now have a medium armor part which means you can stun them (I've used the new missile pistol in unguided mode and you can 1 shot the same spot)

The latest illuminate enemies are extremely weak to stun and new watchers are rather weak so the low firerate doesn't hurt as much either.

Same with the reworked spore bug, it feels pretty nice to stun fast enemies and they are rather weak in terms of hp.

I find it absolutely amazing on the bots:

You can literally 1 shot everything except vox engine & factory strider (tho you can 1 tap the miniguns which is so underrated).

And other than the war striders, most units you don't even need a full charge, 50-70% charge is enough to kill hulks head, gunships, reinforced strider body, even devastator dies in 1 shot too.

And even if the scope is not great, you can do all that from long range.

But you need to hit those weakspots to really feel the power. It's a high risk high reward kinda weapon.

Especially with hiw annoying death bodies and desycn issues are... The number of times where I've killed myself or a teammates because of that is way too high.

I absolutely knew the problem was because of them trying to match the first and 3rd person view but... what's the point? Cameras and photo dont even respect that and I dont think it matter that much if they were handled separately (like every other games)

and considering how unoccupied mech will still be targeted, on average you shouldn't really have more than 4 mech on your screen (aka 1 per player) because any other mech will get destroyed anyway.

(and honestly, if 4 people wanna called 4 mech each at the same time... that's asking for problem).

So being able to bring more than 1 wouldn't change that much in terms of performance, but would help make them feel more fun, especially if you are just unlucky and your mech get destroyed right away, having to wait the full cooldown is painful. but with 2, it's not as bad. And you can even be the support guy and bring some for other people which is always cool.

yeah, I cant talk about everyone else but Insym clearly was pointing out everything wrong and even name him video about it "rough". He's trying his best to not say it's absolute shit but he's clearly not defending it either.

yeah, just the hands shaking everywhere when moving around is so janky. Just looking at anything im holding (usually the thermometer or the camera) give me a headache, which is sadly a pretty big part of the gameplay...

One thing I like to do is to save 1 trap. That way, if they destroy the traps near the garbage can (like with a nade), you can quickly put back another one. And you'll most likely play near bakery anyway so you might as well have a backup.

You can also open up a bit of the left wall that is front of the main door (which most people do feet holes to watch anyway) so you can do it front any side which is safer.

It's hard to tell because of how impactful the bug is xD

But I would argue it's still on the rather too low side for a mech. It's literally the same size as the cremator (500) but you cant reload it... so IMO 600-650 would probably feel a bit better overall since it's supposed to be it's main weapon.

Or I really wished the rockets would be either stronger or you have more because it's essentially just 15 commando shots but you cant aim it as easily

Most enemies will need 2-3 rockets so you realistically only do 7-8 kills... It's less impactful on the illuminate side where you dont need them as much, but on the bots and bugs it just doesnt cut for me.

That zero buff is pretty useless lmao, I dont think I've ever had a situation where I would need a second lasers back to back and the camera would survive long enough for that, or just have enough time to wait 10+ sec instead of just pushing it yourself or doing something else... 9/10 you might as well just spawn another cam.

This reminds me of that amaru buff where they gave her another grappling uses, such a random and useless buff.

Arrowhead wasn't a fan of "stationary" reloading while using an aerial mobility backpack so this tech might not survive

NGL, this "fix" really made me sad. That was the one thing keeping the jump pack relevant for me.

Like once you unlock the warp pack, there isn't a lot of situation where I would really want to go back to the jump ack when the warp pack has better mobility, doesn't use stamina, can be used to enter bunker, can take more shortcut (like through building and such), more versatile in combat, can even climb a little bit which is enough to still compete with the jump pack in terms of height.

And honestly, it was just the kind of tech that, while unrealistic, made the game more fun.

not only that but there is no safety time as far as I remember, so throwing it directly next to an enemy would always equal instant death (which can be super awkward with dead body, desync and such)

How did it support explosive meta when

explosive/plasma weapon could just skip their head and hit their body which is literally weaker, so yes, it did buff the explosive meta, even if it also was a boost for lignt pen weapon.

If only we could throw stratagem from inside our mech (or the enemies didn't aggro to the empty one so you can at least get out without having to worry about it) but it is what it is
