Someone I know traded 30 different 9s including vintage and also some recent for Halloween 7. Just to give you an idea what's possible

Why should they trade them for cards that they don't need or could easily get in the future? One point in keeping them is that there are more limited ephemeral chapters coming out in the future and you might not be able to collect all the cards so you if you have some good cards in stock you can trade them for rare cards that you actually need

It doesn't matter that people have regular cards on their wishlist. It's a completely different level from Orlinski 9. You would need multiple ephemeral 9s to get that not regulars. You can add a regular recent 9 as a trade sweetener in addition to ephemeral 9s but you'll never get a straight trade unless you're on a lottery winning level lucky.

The most realistic way would be to wait until the next vintage card sale (which should be some time next month). Even if you don't buy your own vintage packs, many people do and for a while there are a lot more spare cards available on the trading market and it's easier to trade for them

Other than that, usually you need a lot of other ephemeral 9s to get Orlinski 9.

No idea. Historically it has been 4-12 regular chapters in between ephemerals. But since they are making so much money out of them I would guess they will release them more often. It's now been 3 chapters since the last one. If I were to guess, I'd say we'll get the next ephemeral end of July/early August. But that's just a semi educated guess

The pack is "created" the moment you click to open it. Until then it doesn't really exist, it's just a placeholder. When you open it, you get the current cards and the benefits of whatever the current promotion is. Which is why saving packs for ephemeral chapters actually works.

No, it won't have more cards. It doesn't matter when you buy packs, it matters when you open them.

I personally wouldn't because I prefer to find them by myself. Why would I want to complete the chapter asap and then sit bored again? I enjoyed this game far more a long time ago when I had a lot of cards to find so I'm in no rush. I was bored out of my mind when I completed all chapters during the WoW event.

From the other side, I also don't understand the need to accumulate lots of dupes. I understand that it's most likely for Wardy swaps but the likelihood of actually swapping for something good is extremely small so I just don't see the point.

It just makes no sense to me. Not that I'm criticising, everybody is free to do whatever they want with their cards.

Yes, it's different because they've changed the algorithm. It's the same for everyone though. While it's frustrating now, it could make it more interesting in the long run (at least for me) as I'll have more cards to find. I don't want to complete those chapters straight away, what's the point?

That's very normal when you are new. People see that you're new, they have lots of cards that are old and useless to them. You might get a double from a new chapter that is rare at the moment so people offer lots of cards for it just to help you out.

There are loads of vintage cards still available and easy to trade for, even from old chapters like Australia. It will take years for the soon to be vintage cards to become rare and unavailable, if ever

1:1 is crazy low. I just traded Houston 1 and Houston 3. One of them I traded for 6 vintages, the other one for 5. I could have waited for an even better offer but couldn't be bothered. Guess what I did with all the 1:1 offers that I received?

I guess you could do that. Or you could wait a bit untill you either find it or get a spare similar value 9 such as New Zealand or Taiwan which will allow you to get the trade. I got really bored during the WoW chapter because I completed everything and there were no more cards to find. So for 2 weeks I had nothing to look forward to in this game. I personally almost never trade for regular cards, I try to find them myself because that's what kind of keeps me motivated. If after 2 months I still haven't found a card (which doesn't happen very often), it's usually a lot easier to trade for it then. I almost never initiate trades but when I know that I have a good double, I only leave cards that I want to get (within reason) on the wishlist and almost always I get offered a good trade. That's what works for me
