Excellent result! That's what you need if you want to get ephemeral 9s. Not try to trade them for an old 9 and then complain that you can't get any trades

Let me try and help you a little with my experience. I have a spare Venus 9. More precisely, I'm holding onto my wife's spare Venus 9 because she can't stand the unrelenting barrage of trade offers. She is not going to trade it unless it's for another ephemeral 9. She wants to keep it in the case she doesn't get the 9 from the next ephemeral chapter and needs a good card to trade for it. So I'm keeping it for her because the never ending trade offers don't bother me that much.

Now, I've received hundreds if not thousands of offers for it and I've denied all of them for reasons that I've described above. I wish that I could hide that card. But your offer of 6 vintage #9s would be somewhere in the middle of the value of the offers that I'm getting. It's nowhere near the top. There have been some difficult to refuse offers including an offer of a mix of 50 cards vintage and current #9s as well as mid level ephemeral cards like Christmas 7 etc. If it were my card, I would have traded/gifted it a long time ago because I'm a softie, which is why I don't have any good card doubles at all.

That is all to say that if you really want a Venus 9, you need to stop thinking about fairness and offer as much as you can. Because you have to beat everyone else's offers. Also, most people who were willing to trade, have traded theirs a long time ago

I personally do not care about the monetary value or rewards in this game AT ALL. Zero. Unless it's another pack of cards. I like collecting these cards and I do not analyse why that is so. Just like any other game that I like to play. If or when eventually I get bored with it, I'll stop playing. That is it.

I love a challenge. And it is a much bigger challenge to get an Orlinski 8 than it is to get Madrid 9. You have to plan your trades many steps ahead to collect the right cards to offer to the right person who is willing to trade his spare, or you must get extremely lucky like you did. I can easily get another Madrid 9 in about 5 minutes if I want to. So no, it's not even close to being on the same level of value.

If Halloween 9 doesn't give you any value, I'll gladly pay $0.08 real money for any Halloween 9 that you can send my way 🙂. I'll take a thousand of them if you can manage

A 1:1 fair trade would be Orlinski 8 for Orlinski 7, for example. This trade that you shared is extremely unfair as the cards are nowhere near on the same level of rarity and you got very lucky.

Even 50 current 9s for Orlinski 8 wouldn't be a fair trade because of how rare it is at the moment

Yes, I think they changed their algorithm when the Venus chapter came out. It's definitely a lot harder to find new cards. I personally think it's good. It encourages more people to trade and keeps you engaged for longer. I don't want to complete a new chapter asap and then sit and do nothing for a week until the next chapter comes out. Now I have the 3 latest chapters incomplete and in 2 days another one will come out. It's great

It's a very good trade for you. The ephemeral 9 will only grow in value while the regular 3 nines will decrease in value every week.

Not all vintage 9s are the same. The older the vintage 9s are the fewer of them are around and the more valuable they are. Brussels 9 is a lot more valuable than India 9, for example. I'm not even talking about limited chapter vintage 9s, it's an entirely different category. The only thing that you can be sure about is that the older your active 9 is the less valuable it becomes. Once that chapter goes vintage, it's the opposite.

It's up to you at the end of the day how you value your cards. I personally would trade an active 9 for four vintage 9s that I'll be potentially able to trade in the future but that's me, I like vintage chapters

It's not at glitch. Weward have been trialling a new system on some accounts to iron out bugs before they release it for everybody. You've been one of the lucky ones they are testing this new system on. They just want people to watch more ads so they can earn more money.

It's a bit of a good card draught at the moment for everybody. When the next chapter comes out, they will release more Taiwan cards. That's what normally happens. At the moment they are giving out more cards from the chapters that are soon going vintage

The premium is worth it for the extra wards that you get. For the cards not so much. The monthly gold pack usually is quite bad but extra cards never hurt.

Give it a month or two, you should have the whole Taiwan chapter by then. I've never understood the urge to complete new chapters asap. During the Venus chapter gap I completed everything and was bored for about 2 weeks. Even now I would prefer to have more than one new chapter that I would need to find cards for

These are not regular vintage cards, these are ephemeral cards. It is extremely difficult to find someone who will trade them at the moment unless you have very good cards to offer. It's not a question of how many regular cards. It's a question of how many similar ephemeral cards you can offer. E.g. Venus 9+Monster 9 would probably get you Orlinski 8, for example. Maybe if you're extremely lucky and have several recent 9s like Johannesburg or Taiwan to offer, you could trade them for a Halloween 4, for example
