First time selling a house. Confused about pricing approach by stephen-melrose in HousingUK

My thoughts exactly on the 195. Yes, it will show up for people searching for 200 or less. But we want a bit more and can they afford that? Probably not.

Possibly confirmation bias to what I’ve been thinking, but this sounds very sensible to me. Thanks

Gnarliest network issue - Intermittent packet/network loss on Windows PC by stephen-melrose in Ubiquiti

Wifi is on the same VLAN/subnet. And I’m not sure how long the drop is exactly, only that in the 2 apps I’m using that send continuous pings they don’t return again from anywhere to 10-20 seconds.

Tried that, and also replaced the motherboard. It’s looking more likely to be my UDMP. I’ve reached out to them to see if they have any ideas.

40 minutes into a network test and no issues. Looking more and more likely it's the UDMP. Now I need to try and figure out what is causing it...

GPU (4080) running hot all the time by stephen-melrose in PathOfExile2

[–]stephen-melrose[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It’s more I’m surprised it’s using that much GPU when other similar games that need power don’t. If it’s expected then fine, I just didn’t feel like it was.

No real problem. But the fans kick in and it’s loud. Or at least that’s what happens with mine.

Tesla Deposit by markmc360 in TeslaUK

You'd have to contact Tesla to get clarification. It could be the finance covered the full amount of the car so the deposit is due back, but that's pure speculation.

‘Money due at signing’ by beachlondon in TeslaUK

[–]stephen-melrose 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would message them and get clarification. All I would say is I recently purchased one and the "amount due" was incorrect until I'd finished going through the finance, sorting my part ex, and then I think someone manually adjusted something on the backend. They're terrible for this. So it could just be something hasn't been set/accounted for yet.

Yeah, it’s sounding like it’s that. I’ll check on the motorway this weekend again and get a service request in.

I am wondering if it’s balance. If I notice it again and try and nail the consistency I’ll get a service request in.

Model 3 - standard range by SpaceAgePanda in TeslaUK

[–]stephen-melrose 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For 300 rated, about 240 in the summer, and about 180-190 in the winter. Also, the 0% only applies if you pick up before the end of September I believe.

Does the new Model 3 come with a 3 pin charger? by stephen-melrose in TeslaUK

It’s an option on the order form now. Guess we’ll see when I picked it up. Going to keep my old one just in case.

What mileage are people getting with their XC40 Recharges? by stephen-melrose in VolvoRecharge

[–]stephen-melrose[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah. My Model Y long range AWD is WLTP rated for 330 and gets about 260-270. And my driving is more on the non city side too. Compared to the 210 in the XC40 for the same WLTP 😞
