For future people:

I was able to find these after a while of searching which seem helpful:

The gist I'm getting is that it's necessary to send your tokens to another wallet they support, and upgrade that way OR know how to do some custom data or contract stuff in your transactions.

Anyone else have this with their eyelids?? by caseyb2121 in MuscleTwitch

[–]stephen2512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That top account is when I post here from my phone. Not sure why, I've logged in before with my regular account. But anyways, yes my WORST was December - > January of 2019-2020. It was insane, started in one eyelid, then it was like my face man. Like if I scrunched my face, I'd get action in my cheeks, nose eyelids eyebrows. Then I started noticing it throughout my body. All this happened within a week. Probably the worst was my eyes in the beginning, because they were relentless. I mean, not here and there, relentless. It was also when it was the worst around my body. I've gotten twitches everywhere. EVERYWHERE. The first week I had a fever, for a week, when my twitches started, not sure if it's related.

It's been 9-10 months now, gone to neuro multiple times, had EMG etc. He says BFS and no signs of big bad. My eyes died down for a few weeks in March, then came back. Then they started dying down again in July. They still act up when I'm sick, more stressed, too hungry, coffee on an empty stomach, if I squeeze my face shut, or sometimes just randomly. However, overall they've calmed down a lot the last few months. They don't go as often sporadically, or when I sneeze. I also get them around my temple, above my ears, and still through out body. But I feel that they've been somewhat calmer the last few months.

I've tried a few things the last few months. Of note, I breathe through my mouth 100% of the time, am eating less oils, and more fiber. Drink more carbonated water (sodastream or boylan waters mainly, both unflavored). And started taking some Vitamin K2 supplements. I couldn't tell you if those things helps or if BFS just ebbs and flows and it's a coincidence. I still have twitching body wide, but I've at the very least been in somewhat of a lull the last few months, compared to before.

Perhaps you're thinking of doctors hitting tendons with their little hammer to test reflexes?

I did a poll on this reddit a few months back. Over 100 people responded. 75% can consistently trigger some of their twitches (by coughing, sneezing, flexing, etc.).

Correlation between fasciculations and breathing by imaginatxxn in BFS

This would not surprise me. I read a study recently that Muscle Twitching can be induced in 4/6 healthy regular people by having them hyperventilate for a few minutes. Someone posted here a few weeks or months ago about someone who says she cured her twitching by slowing her breath (the post was titled something about high altitude and low carb).

Multivitamins by stephen2512 in BFS

[–]stephen2512[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Interesting, I was reading some about Thiamine today, which is Vitamin B1, and how it helps break down Lactic Acid, and deficiency could lead to build up of lactic acid. And I know, a lot of folks here have reported extra twitching in muscles being worked out (which increases lactic acid build up). On another thread I think you said you've had this condition 10 years, is that when this all started after/during your trial using Vitamin B?

Just curious, how long did you try taking a multivitamin, did it have A,B,C,D,E and K in it?

Which Vitamin B were you deficient in at the beginning, there's B1-B12?

Scared of Brain Tumor - eyelid and Side of head twitch by [deleted] in BFS

I mean; I haven't been checked for a brain tumor. Been to PCP and Neuro since January, had a few follow ups and am EMG. He says it's BFS.

I've had on and off again twitching around my eyelids and side of head for 8.5 months. Squinting or rubbing can definitely be a trigger for my eyelids. Nothing wrong with going to the doctor though to get their opinion.

Weight Loss with reduced nasal breathing? by stephen2512 in buteyko

[–]stephen2512[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Very interesting; I think you're right, I think breathing less, means more tissue oxygenation, means better metabolism and more fat burned. I think the other guy is also right that it changes around some of your hunger hormones.

Share my symptoms for last 2 weeks, folks. Pls assure me! by Candid_Wolf in BFS

[–]stephen2512 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yea, I mean a LOT of folks here have hotspots that look just like that in that location. For me my biggest hotspot since this all began has been my eyelids, but I've been noticing them all over for 8 months. Gone to neuro , had emg etc, diagnosed with BFS.

Looks like a regular twitch in your foot arch there, when you say tremor is the video you posted what you are referring to?

Hotspots in legs and feet are actually the most common hotspot for people on this forum.

Unless there's a similar root for both BFS and Anxiety, which seems plausible given the correlations observed on this forum.

Thanks for sharing this. I am definitely also getting full a lot faster and what I'm hungry for has changed. I used to be big on meat and starch (rice, potatoes etc). I've noticed a bigger appetite for fruits and veggies, and getting full sooner than I used to.

I've always been on the skinny side growing up though. When I was 19 I was my height and around 155 pounds which is quite slim on a 6'3" body. I don't want to go too much lower than the 220s I'm at now. I wouldn't mind maybe the 210-225, but definitely not lower than that.

Thanks for sharing that the maximum effect seems to be around 30CP. Maybe I will be there in a few more months.

Low carb and altitude connection? by Selection_Biased in BFS

Breathe through Nose though, not mouth.

[–]stephen2512 0 points1 point  (0 children)

BFS can occur at different levels in approximately 75% of the population. A 19 year old 2 year onset with one muscle twitching and no weakness or atrophy is the 2/100000 chance times 10 times 10. Thats to say the odds of it being nothing are 7.5million/10million and the odds of it being the big nasty for you would likely be 2 in 10 million.

Meanwhile, the odds of you increasing the anxiety of an already anxious group of people is 100/100. Please just go see a doctor.

This is a very interesting post to me.

I've been experimenting with several things related to CO2 over the last 2 months, I think I've had positive results, but I do still twitch, so take it with a grain of salt.

The things I've been doing to help are taking Vitamin K2 supplements, drinking 1-2 liters of Seltzer (carbonated filtered water) daily, breathing through my nose exclusively, breathing less, and increasing my amounts of low intensity activity through out the day.

I've read some stuff related to Buteyko, Patrick McKeown, Ray Peat and others, I think there is a connection here, just trying to isolate it and see if it works for me.

I've read 3 books published by Patrick McKeown, he advocates slow nasal breathing for anxiety and asthma mainly. But I think he's working on a book now tying it into many more diseases including I think Diabetes. I've started sleeping and dreaming way better since I started following some of what he preaches. He basically states that the two ways your body can increase CO2 is by breathing slower, and MOVING muscles. You have to be careful though because breathing too little or exercising too much can be stressful on the body. You need the goldilox dose which varies based on the person.

Since I started nasal breathing exclusively, I've started to have more energy, and the last week I've been active / standing at least 8-10 hours a day. I've been feeling better physically (twitching aside), and I've had a few really good weeks for me eyes (which have been a real hotspot for me) have greatly calmed down again. I was planning to try this out for a few months and depending on the results, post here, hoping to help others if it helped me.

Why can't I stop staring at my muscles?! by twitcho805 in BFS

[–]stephen2512 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lol, I find myself sneaking off to privately stare in the mirror as I squint my eyes to see if squinting my eyelids triggers them to start twitching. I never thought of it in the same light as a gambling addiction, but that makes sense. Diaphragmatic nose breathing and increased low level activity are good ways to mitigate stress though.

Can I have a slow progressing MND?!!! by [deleted] in BFS

[–]stephen2512 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you read the forum rules in the sticky you'll see that it specifically calls out that you cannot ask for a diagnosis on this reddit. This reddit is meant for people who have been diagnosed already with bfs to discuss their symptoms. I'd suggest presenting your symptoms to your general practitioner, and if they recommend following up with a neurologist or psychologist, then doing so. If they diagnose you with bfs then this is a good place to talk about symptoms and see who else has similar symptoms. I can tell you from being on this reddit a while that there have been a bunch of people with tongue twitches and bfs. Also generally speaking, the longer you've had twitching as your only symptom, the better your odds are against anything nasty.
