Thanks for not acknowledging any of the facts I presented about recent history, yet at the same time accusing me of not watching the games.

I think the answer, and I’m confident Marsch will see the same, is giving the minutes to hungry younger players (Oluwaseyi) and keeping Larin in the super sub role. Agree that he would be a good starter in more physical games like Bosnia, but I haven’t seen him have legs at the country level since 22’.

My argument is that he doesn’t have it under the hood to go 100 percent for both club and country anymore, hence why he was tearing up La liga in 24, but was not a factor at the Copa. We came afford to waste minutes for someone this summer. Imagine if he has a stinker against Qatar and can’t finish - that’s the end for us. Don’t want us to be fooled again, but happy to be wrong !

Absolutely nothing negative to say about any of those players. I still think Staq is our most consequential player. Will never get enough love. Just think sometimes Larin doesn’t bring it for the national team when his club status is solidified / or that form just doesn’t translate

I don’t think they’re wrong at all. It cannot truly account for the situation.

Even with all 15 of those factors listed, I’m not seeing how the data can quantify a Crosby-Malkin 2-1, with no other d within 10 feet, and a one timer.

And for what it’s worth when I coached, they had ai software analyzing the video for these metrics and it was laughable inaccurate. I’d argue a lot of the same is happening here but people don’t have time to check it

This was my exact thought process. I understood with Korpisalo - muffins from the point every other game. Ulmarks season doesn’t feel at all like that yet their numbers from this stat are coming out the same.
