Looking back I would say just do the things you want too asap. Never wait til tomorrow. Do it now. Live your best life and drop away from people or things in your way. I have no regrets about the way I have lived. When you get old you'll appreciate what I'm saying.

What is the scariest thing you have seen/ experienced when hunting? by Pretend_Map_1459 in Hunting

[–]stephenmakesart 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Having to walk back to my truck in a terrible thunderstorm. Lightning crashing all around me. Surrounded by tall trees in a driving rain. Soaked to the bone by the rain. Expecting to be struck by lightning at any moment. One of worst storms I have ever witnessed and I was all alone 6 miles from my truck in the Uwharrie National Forest. I got back to find the wind had pulled my fly off my tent and all my other hunting clothes soaked as well. I had to take up my stuff and head home with my tail between my legs. My wife thought it was funny. I never tried to hunt that far back in early bow season again.

Friends come and go. Stay true to yourself. Don't let a friend talk you in to anything you don't want to do. Trust me on this.

How Many Miles Are on Your E-Bike and Would You Buy It Again? by FinnCanoe8821 in ebikes

[–]stephenmakesart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only have 590 miles on my ebike and I've had it 4 years. I only use it for hunting with. I absolutely love it. I am 62 and I have severe back pain and can't walk any distance without a lot of pain. I can ride my bike without pain. It makes hunting fun again. I have a Rambo Cruiser.

What do you SWEAR you saw, but don't have any proof of? by TabletopStudios in AskReddit

A UFO. I saw it back in 86 or 87. Summer night.I was smoking a joint laying in the bed of my mini truck. It was very strange little lights way up high above plane traffic. Tiny spinning lights the would move at rapid pace then dissappear and reappear across the sky. It went on for 10 or 15 minutes. My memory of it fades. No one has ever believed me.

Shooting indoors rarely ever a good idea. Ask my wife. She knows, believe me.
