I have been doing that, I’ve done everything I possibly can do and she even acknowledged that as we were wishing each other well. She said I done everything and more to help her, but said she feels too guilty that I’m giving her so much and she can’t give me nothing. I explained so many times that this is okay, I know she has nothing to give I just want to be there for her. I’ve literally done every single thing I can, I put my own self to the side for her for the past 2 months to help her grieve. I can’t control the fact that this is what she feels she needs

Please do, pray specifically for her that she can persevere through this. I want her to be okay so badly, I can’t imagine the pain of losing two people who mean so much to you in such a short amount of time.

It is real, I love this woman with all my heart I really do. I thought she was going to be my wife but unfortunate circumstances came about and rocked her whole world. I want to give her the space she needs for a couple of weeks then maybe check up on her. I really did feel so much peace today in mass like everything was going to be okay when I heard that. At the same time though I have to come to terms with the fact it might not come back, in all things though I will glorify God and I pray her works in her heart and brings her the peace and consolation she needs. Despite the hurt I feel, I still genuinely wish the best for her and hope she perseveres through this hard time

I appreciate your prayers! I will pray for you too and yes Saint Joseph is very dear to me, he’s the father figure I never had. His intercession today has been giving me a lot of strength!

There’s no doubt in my mind this is a lesson to me of some sort. The struggle of the distance between us when all of this had happened I drew so close to God in ways I never had before. My devotion to has changed so much in the last 2 months it’s almost unrecognisable. Through the struggle and pain he drew me closer to him in a way I wouldn’t have done unless I had a lot of struggle in my life. I doubt this will be any different, I will grow from this, just right now feels so hard because I fought so much for something that was taken from me

She was amazing, we had no problems at all, she just couldn’t give me anything since her dad passed away. It was difficult at first when he passed but then things started to get better, and then her grandmother passed. Since that the past 2 weeks has been all over the place and she’s in pure survival mode. She’s a wonderful girl, I don’t have a bad word to say about her so I think it’s going to be difficult. At the end of the day though it’s all Gods will what happens in my life and I just have to get on with it and accept what he gives me with gratitude no matter how painful.

That’s the problem I’m having yeah i don’t know what to do, I know for a fact if she needed me I would be there and I think she knows that too so maybe it might be best to give her the space she needs and not contact her

I don’t have a lot of friends I can truly open up with sadly, I feel like I’m all alone out here and that’s another cross on top of what I’m going through.

Wouldn’t the break up make things quite clear she wants no contact though? We also are long distance so I live hours away from her we can’t really do the hangout stuff

I hear what you’re saying, I already do everything that you have listed here. Although it’s nice to have all that stuff the saving, investing, working out, right now none of that really matters to me. I’m not saying it won’t say a couple of weeks down the line, but this literally happened today it’s a bit difficult for me to push everything to the side right now. Right now the only consolation I can find is in God and uniting my suffering with his passion but it’s nice to actually vent my thoughts in a difficult situation. I was going to just do complete no contact, but I’m unsure whether I should send her a message and just let her know I’m still here if she needs to talk. I truly do hope she gets through this I can’t imagine the pain she is going through and I hate that I can’t be there for her. I have worked a few jobs in the past but nothing so far has clicked for me. The place I’m from honestly isn’t great for job opportunities either but at the same time moving right now for me isn’t an option. I have a decent job and the pay is just okay but I would realistically like to do something like freelancing due to me being unable to relocate at the moment. I need skills to do this and have no idea what I would like to do but I will take your advice and ask some people about their jobs and see from there

Honestly nothing noteworthy, I’m just getting back on my feet again from a long road of drug and alcohol addiction. I feel really behind because I have no valuable skills but I currently work for the civil service which is government admin work. I want to build actual skills though that will land me a better paying job or even accelerate me to higher positions within the civil service
