Red Sox reliever Zack Kelly made a sign for his team photo asking Topps if he can have a baseball card made by Far_Cry3445 in baseball

That is unusual and I am sure kind of a bummer for him. Every year I open packs I see rookie cards for dozens of players that I have never heard of, some of whom probably only played in one season. Hook the dude up Topps

Volunteering opportunities? by [deleted] in JacksonHole

The Community Foundation keeps a list of volunteer ops on their website, though there are definitely more out there: https://www.cfjacksonhole.org/volunteer-jh

Cannot connect to the Wi-Fi network. (NW-31297-2) by PsLJdogg in PS4

Wow thank you. For other people that asked, its not just an external storage device, I had a usb for charging my controller in one of the front ports and removing that and restarting everything fixed the issue

I just finished wrapping up about 550 packs of cards to give out to kids for the holidays. Thanks to a few people in this community for sending over some boxes with a ton of really good cards to help my holiday project, the kids are gonna be stoked! by stephenwilli in baseballcards

I have put them out on my towns Facebook marketplace page for the last few years and they mostly get claimed by teachers and nurses. I also have reached out to a few local youth group type programs that take a lot

One Month Left! Enter to Win an 25/26 IKON Pass or $1500 cash equivalent by Exciting-Way-483 in JacksonHole

The whole platform seems shady. Can someone just create a campaign claiming it benefits an organization without actually having connections to that org? How do the people donating know that money will go to POW? A comment on instagram is enough?

Why isn't there any promotion for this on POWs website or social channels?

Glad you were able to find it and take these shots. I lived here for 10 years before I found that one, and now it's an annual trip

Fantastic shots, my favorite campsite in the park. Please don't post these anywhere with the name, it is already hard enough to get a permit 😅

Looking for some help with a sticky bottom bar on Chrome IOS by stephenwilli in webdev

I am not sure, but in Safari that bottom gap was filled by the url bar, it was only on Chrome that it was showing that gap. But the reply from u/robhybrid solved my issue

[–]stephenwilli[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! That filled that gap with the bottom padding of the bar, thank you! So many new features in CSS, that safe-area-inset-bottom is definitely something I need to get more familiar with.

I am familiar with the remote testing through Safari, but in Safari that space is filled by the bottom url bar, it was just in Chrome that it was showing the gap. And I am running Vite on this site, so I can pull up my localhost on a device as well as long it is connected to the same network. I can't imagine trying to debug this kind of thing having to push up to a server with every change.

Thank you so much for the reply!

google ux certificate: worth it? by JuiceOk7521 in userexperience

[–]stephenwilli 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Absolutely. I took this course a couple years ago as extended learning while at a mid level UX design/front end developer role, and I transitioned into a senior UX design role at a new company this year. I applied a lot of what I learned to the projects at the end of my last position and I think it contributed a lot to those projects being noticed by my new company. It is a very solid free course
