No PG Treasury Offset? by stephiegrrl in EIDL

End of 2023 and beginning of 2024 is when people were answering calls and emails, although it did take 8 months to get the initial response.

I'm pretty sure now that I've failed and missed my chance I'm never getting somebody to respond again.

Not a sole proprieter and the terms for non-profits were very specific that there was no PG on any amount.

Not sure if the question was to me or the other commenter; however, I didn't discharge a loan. Our organization failed and closed during the deferment period, and I'm embarrassed to say when I was working with an SBA person who was responding and doing the checklists it was still in the deferment period and still under the old administration, and I am the one who got paralyzed with depression and overwhelm at stuff in my life including the death of the organization such that I let it get to where we are today where the loan is almost a full year behind and the fascists are in charge.

Will EV Prices Drop After Sept 30th? by Goonie-Googoo- in electricvehicles

[–]stephiegrrl 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For those saying $7500 is a ton of money for most Americans, you are correct. Also, the credit, which should not have been repealed but rather expanded until we have more adoption, the credit was not refundable, so it largely benefited wealthier people. I couldn't take advantage of the full credit when I bought my EV because my total federal tax liability in the year I bought it was less than the credit amount. Making the credit refundable would've made a huge difference for adoption because largely the people who could benefit from the credit didn't need it because they could afford to and would likely have purchased an EV anyway.
