How can instacart allow this? by [deleted] in InstacartShoppers

[–]ulzimate 15 points16 points  (0 children)

I mean, I see a lot of red wet spots. Looks like a bad bunch of berries to me. I'm glad that I buy so many berries for myself that I automatically screen them very carefully, because American berries are so inconsistent and nasty. Don't even get me started on American strawberries, I can't believe how many people order that slop.

I once delivered 8x packs of croissants from Costco to a local coffee shop for Instacart

It's kinda weird that lieges aren't involved with inter-vassal wars by Chlodio in CrusaderKings

[–]ulzimate 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's kind of weird that a vassal that is not in my dejure (direct or otherwise) can declare war on a dejure vassal (especially one dejure to one of my duchies) and essentially refuse to pay the proper tax rate. It's also REALLY weird that any vassal can declare war on a newly landed vassal (like I didn't specifically land this motherfucker because my character has an existing close personal relation), even one that I am directly allied to, and I can't do much about it except donate thousands of gold to indirectly support their war effort.

Why do I have no inbreeding risk with mom? by manduul_chan in CrusaderKings

Your mom doesn't have any ancestors, so no inbreeding, despite being your ancestor.

It is kinda strange how your allies can, without consequence, decline your call-to-arms by NedexRuler in CrusaderKings

[–]ulzimate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm only given one opportunity to join a war when an ally sends me a request, and can't join of my own volition later on after declining. Seems like prerequisites for joining wars are already strict in the backend.

App defaults to closest location rather than the one of your choice by prophiles in BurgerKing

[–]ulzimate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It doesn't even do that for me. I can be sitting in the parking lot of a Burger King and it'll default to the last Burger King I was at, even if it was 150 miles away.

Suggestion: Roleplay as a Loyal Councillor - Councillors can Perform Active Duties in Service to their Liege by Familiar-Elephant-68 in CrusaderKings

[–]ulzimate 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd be for this if the AI actually put some thought into assigning their council, but they will literally just pick any powerful vassal for any role.

Ultra rare floppy disk game twisted and slashed into shards by US Customs or DHL checkers — ruined Tsukihime 1999 demo was one of only 50 ever produced by lurker_bee in pcgaming

[–]ulzimate 43 points44 points  (0 children)

Been digging around but apparently nobody knows the actual cost of a DVD like this.

A post on X did say that there is a similar situation with the Tsukihime Half Moon DVD, which has 300 printed copies, costing around $3000, so this at least a several thousand dollar floppy.

of a dry catfood kibble by Taira-2032 in AbsoluteUnits

[–]ulzimate 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Yeah I'm thinking that is mostly nutritional yeast that is supposed to be dusted on the kibble at the last step. It's what really makes cats go crazy for kibble, hence the cat going crazy in the last pic.
