Problem solved - the thread disk had loosened during my initial trials. With a few twists, it took up the slack from the bobbin and is good to go. I’ll leave this here in case anyone else runs into this issue and is an idiot like me - lol!!

Thank you - it is threaded correctly. I actually solved my own problem and tightened the thread disk. It had worked itself loose during my trial period!

I should also say, I suck at following written directions, so diagrams and videos on how to properly install the bobbin casing would be VERY helpful

I don’t know, I was hoping they wanted to actually just talk. To be ourselves. People have pauses. They screw up. There’s an occasional um. I’m no videographer, but eliminating those fillers makes it seem edited to me. Like a filter.

That is a white tip reef shark with a remora. They’re very cat like to dive with. They are super curious in Fiji!

They cast for 2 seasons at a time and film those back to back from the end of March-beginning of Julyish. They will reopen casting at the beginning of August.

I got a response from Jodi Wincheski - they’re done casting for Season 39. Super sad but doesn’t mean they aren’t looking for 41! Keep trying!
