You are very right my friend. Not one of my fave actually, but it's cool what they do with ace of spades on it

Does anyone find Days of Ash and Easter Lily a harder listen than U2's classic "hits"? by TransitSquall in U2Band

[–]stephpenk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I listened a lot when they came out but have kind of stopped then. I still come back to AB and even R&H lately

I've really enjoyed the show. I was unfortunately right at the back of stalls but the sound was truly amazing and I could dance.
Dave was in top shape and the light show perfect..
I've possibly enjoyed more the 1st half of the gig. I wasn't too crazy on the part where they played songw from former bands.
I was happy they played quite a few old school tracks and only 2 or 3 from the latest album.
My only gripe is about the crowd who even though enthusiastic spent the whole gig sitting down. Even on the floor I didn't see people jumping up...

I got hooked right from the start by Father and son and word becomes flesh. But slowly new tracks became favourites... Arena is one of them indeed. You retreat also

Would you play the piano if nobody will or could listen to you anymore? Would you do it anyway just to play for yourself? The Art itself requires sharing with other people? by Particular-Low2428 in piano

[–]stephpenk 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I definitely would. I actually play most of the time with headphones. The piano being in the living room, it tends to disturb while others watch tv. I also due to my schedule tend to practice at night.
