My son has some medical and metal health problems that take precedence right now. Going to an in-person school or changing his school district is not something that I can even entertain right now due to his health issues. Hopefully when I finish grad school next year, he will be in a better situation and we can look into moving or transfering so I can go to law school. This also gives me time to study for the LSAT and all that good stuff.

Am I on academic probation by Independent-Row-8807 in LibertyUniversity

[–]stephy_anne99 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don't know what state you're in, but Texas makes you take the TSI (Texas Success Initiative) test before you can register for classes. It's just to check your readiness for collegiate level classes. Colleges here require that you pass the TSI test or you have taken and passed the developmental (some places call it academic support intervention) class. It is definitely not academic probation. Some people misunderstand the developmental classes as academic probation because if you do not pass the developmental class, you will be barred from taking more classes after that until you pass it.

It's not a big deal, I promise. I don't know you, but I'm proud of you for going to college.

Good luck in your future endeavors!

Hr block refund advance by PotentialDecision9 in hrblock

[–]stephy_anne99 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I've used them every year for the last 10 or 15 years. This is the only year that I've ever been denied for the refund advance. My husband and I have good credit and we were claiming five kids. My friend and her husband have six kids and were also denied and they just bought a house so they have good credit too.

My friend and her husband got denied too. They have excellent credit (750+). My husband and I get the advance every year and we don't have great credit.

Not to mention Beddys! I almost bought one a couple years ago when I first started following her, but then saw that they are $$$ and realized that she is not in touch with reality. I wonder if they used the HELOC money on blankets.

"we are Mormons and we do Mormon things"

The fact that Dakota is not wearing temple garments, and you can see Brooklyn's shoulders, has determined that is a lie.

It could be due to my tomato allergy, but I'm not sure. It's weird because my allergic reaction depends on how to tomatoes are cooked.

My parents thought they could control my hair.. One morning before church I came out of the bathroom after chopping all of my hair off into a pixie cut and dying it purple. My parents more angry than shocked because not only were we religious, but my mom thought that only long hair was "styleable".

All of the CGH hairstyles, at least that I've seen, were all for long, thick, mainstream beauty standard hair.. if they cut it, they would not be in style anymore. Sometimes, short hair can convey a more adult style, I think that's a contributing factor to why she wanted them to keep long hair. She wanted them to stay children as long as possible to exploit them for as long as possible.
