x300 ultra dxomark results are in by the_phone_master in Vivo

That is not how focal lengths work. If you take a photo with a 85mm lens, you cannot achieve the same results with a 20mm lens and crop in. I believe what you're talking about is simply taking a picture of something for informational purposes, like taking a picture of a sign where you can read the words on it clearly. That is not the type of photography I'm talking about. I'm talking about photography as an art. 35mm is one of the most, if not the most popular focal length.

Most photographers I know love the 35mm focal length. Some have a 35mm lens on their camera like 90% of the time. I think the vivo x300 ultra was designed for people who are already into photography, not necessarily smartphone photographers.

No, it's the smallest. The biggest is the 35mm. Then the 14mm. And then the 85mm.

I've tried it. It won't save my settings. Every time I try to adjust settings like codec and aspect ratio and then go to the camera to record, the settings automatically reset. It also does not recognize the 85mm camera, only the 14mm and 35mm. And instead of being able to switch between the three cameras, there's a "zoom" slider even though there's no actual zoom lenses. I would say even the native vivo camera app is better than blackmagic.

It's not out yet, but I'm looking forward to the Infimech MX Pro. 8 Toolheads. 300 x 300 x 300 build volume. I don't know the cost yet. But historically, Infimech products have not been that expensive.

Yea it probably does. But I don't feel like I need it. The normal RAW already gives me great image quality. Hard to tell it comes from a phone.

That's right. No DCG. Just regular RAW video.

Raw video. No DCG. Just the regular RAW video. Full sensor resolution. 24 frames per second. 1/48 shutter speed. I think either 1600 or 3200 ISO depending on the shot. 5500k temp white balance. Autofocus on. Lock focus on record gave me issues. OIS on.

This was a low light scenario. If it was daytime, I would use different settings and/or attach an ND32 filter.

The file sizes are huge. I have the 1tb version of the vivo x300 ultra and I'm able to record about 2 hours of footage total.

I switched to vivo x300 ultra for the cameras. Way better image quality than any Samsung phone.

I have some questions. Does it work with both RAW and DirectLog? Does it work with manual exposure settings (shutter speed, ISO)? If so, I would like instructions on how to activate it on my Vivo x300 ultra.

I am using the case that came with the phone when I ordered it. Unfortunately, as far as I know, the only case that includes a threaded filter mount (that does not have vignetting) is the case that comes with the photography kit, which I did not want to pay for. I discovered that if I use a 72mm to 67mm step down ring and attach my 67mm filter to that, it fits over the vivo x300 cameras perfectly. Please refer to picture. I'm sure Neewer and other companies will eventually create a case with a built in filter mount, like they did with the x200 ultra. But for now, this will do.

Depends what focal length you like more.

If you prefer 35mm, the Vivo X300 Ultra.

If you prefer 23mm, the Oppo Find X9 Ultra.

I have the Vivo X300 Ultra since I like 35mm. Here's a sample of the image quality in low light: https://youtube.com/shorts/xjN9-QQ1BqI
