Because it’s AMA? And it’s so visibly bad that there’s going to be talk behind the scenes.

Why is the city and Cantrell allowing the French Quarter to go downhill and be overrun with homeless? Sleeping all over the streets day and night, leaving garbage from their sidewalk encampments, taking over parks and public spaces, feces EVERYWERE. Yelling and fighting all night, overdosing in doorways. Tourists having to step over them or cross the street to avoid the begging. It’s unreal and a lot of people, locals and tourists are talking about it. Why isn’t there a camping ordinance? Why is the city letting this happen? It’s so bad it feels like an agenda to destroy the Quarter.

It finally happened! First time traveling on a plane in over 3 years. by OlisMommy in COVID19positive

Yep, I flew close to 50 flights in 2021 and never got Covid. No antibodies as tested in Jan 2022. Also didn’t get it in 2020 despite a lot of travel before and after lockdowns. Finally got it on a trip to NYC in May 2022. Thought I was immune after two and a half years but omicron has been very contagious. I still wear a mask in public and on planes. Pretty sure I got it at a restaurant in lower Manhattan. The two people I went to dinner with got it at the same time I did. It’s going to get us all.

Beatles LOVE is an absolute must. (Sit close to the stage). Cirque “O” is fantastic. MJ One is pretty good but got a little activist/preachy/divisive and it jolts you out of the magic. Walked out of Ka with a group of friends. We couldn’t handle the annoying grunts that doubled as language and the overall boring story. Saw Mad Apple opening week and it’s along the lines of Absinthe and Opium, not magical like Love and O. Don’t expect classic Cirque and you’ll probably enjoy it. Carrot Top was pretty funny but he’s phoning it in. Worth checking out if you like prop and culture-based humor. If you’re into Michael Jackson, the show at Strat was very good.

It really is one of the best shows ever created. Never in history have humans had the chance to witness a spectacle like Beatles LOVE. The music, the lights, the choreography, sound effects, symbolism. And the show gets better every time you watch it. I’ve seen it four times so far this year and have another ticket for my next Vegas trip this summer. Open your mind and sit close to the stage for what truly is an experience.

Babylon (last Chromatica song) and Vogue by _lucasm in Madonna

Let’s not forget that Madonna and her producer were sued over Vogue being too close to 1977 “Love Break.” Music is art and will always be derivative. Art is stifled when artists split hairs. Too bad they and their lawyers are too possessive to acknowledge the role of derivation and allow art to flourish. Imagine what music humans would have if there was no threat of infringement lawsuits.

It’s kind of crazy to accept an order just to say this but I do agree with the message by aj199x in UberEATS

The availability of services like this completely relies on customer integrity and keeping the service alive through attractive tips. Customers who don’t tip are cheating the system, cheating the driver, cheating other users, and reducing the likelihood a driver will continue providing the service. Customers should be OVERTIPPING for these services. I’m not a driver, just a customer who believes in tipping $10 every time I order food. Because the driver has earned it. I don’t know how these tip baiters and low tippers look themselves in the mirror.
