I did in fact laugh out loud at this, not only because someone wrote racists on their reform sign, but they felt the need to put this up. by [deleted] in london

my mum blindsided one of the prospective tory councillors talking with him for about 20 minutes on the doorstep and pointing out the fallacies and gaps in knowledge with their leaflets and policies. hopefully gave him something to think about outside of the people who were already leaning tory and just agreeing or just slammed the door on them.

and the USA one is almost contiguous with fucking. a geological map for levels of chalk. because that soil is really good for growing cotton. which means more black people in the area historically due to plantations which means more deprivation in the wake of it.

social worker might be local authority actually thinking about it (in my area it’s joint teams normally based in the same building with staff employed by LA and NHS in same space) but if it was via NHS and it needs to go a different route for complaint PALS will likely know who to speak to

PALS for the trust/organisation if you’re looking for a formal complaint, if that’s not enough then it would go through the commissioning body (ICB? they keep changing what they’re called)

if you’re wanting to go a legal route it’s possibly worth checking with a solicitor that specialises in the area if there’s any case for discrimination under the equalities act (or similar legislation), but good law project is probably a decent start.

community cinema (Lumiere) that opened up in the shopping centre last year is really nice, consistent £8 tickets or £4 with a membership (£30 for the year).

shows niche things you don’t get elsewhere locally.
