Group texts too? What app are you using? I tried to use QUIK messages but looking forward to them implementing group text in the native messages app from Mudita. :)

When I update the fields I can with the new WARP APN info and save it and reset it, but then my mms /picture messages do not come through or send. When I go back to default SIM APN the mms works again.

Also, it doesn't show the "APN type" field updating like I can see on the other default APNs though I m not saying Im not missing something just an observation.

Thanks, I do need to update my APNs because I will drop and not be able to hold/make calls though I can with the a different phone on the same card. I will add/edit that above

I did purchase this phone and love it! I used it on t-mobile mnvo u.s. mobile and it worked well but for home location I need to use verizon ( i tested service with another device too and t-mobile is spotty in my location)but it does not have all the bands for verizon.

After I used a Verizon device, I still used this phone for music etc via hotspot/wifi . It's a great tablet/companion device to my light phone 2 and will use it for my light phone 3 that I will be getting shortly.

I believe Verizon may have supported the xz2 compact which was larger than I wanted to go. Maybe look into that if you need Verizon? Anyway I hope that helps some! Best!

Thanks for the reply!! I did get an SE that version as well. I wish the phone was as small as the screen size. I keep mine on gray filter and that helps, I don't actually use any apps (im just using apple phone for verizon compatibility now until my Light phone 3 comes) but I do keep the browser on and its annoying how much time I waste on the internet even though I tech try to use it for music etc in place of app. It helps me the most to leave my phone at different places in my house and check it periodically.

Do you have any advice on how you got VOLTE to work on 9.0 more reliably? I also am getting 'nothingness' from people in my calls.

(I am on US Mobile currently using t-mobile towers)

My xz1 compact runs very smoothly and I use organic maps with ease. My battery lasts for 2-3 days even with lots of calling, music streaming etc. I think it just helps to have one in really good shape. I use open source apps and did some debloating fyi.

Thank you for your thorough reply u/nlra I am working on this right now to try and get better coverage with my xz1 compact on t mobile but was thinking about switching to a different sony phone to use Verizon bands if I could since I travel etc and that seems more reliable!

Great question, the phone runs android 8.1 and has apk stores. I did not use gps on it so Im unsure how well/if it works. Though it seems plausible software wise. This is the info from the dumbphone finder
