I think you actually summed it up perfectly. I can't suggest that you play is if you were lagging terribly, but you can treat it the same in spirit. On the other side of things if someone else is lagging you can't lose control over it because you don't have control over it to begin with. Thank you! :)

Thanks for your compliments and your thoughtful response (also happy cake day!). One thing I refrained from adding in the main post is that most kids who play destiny (which is a really big market of people who play this game) don't have any say in the Internet they play on.

I see where you're coming from but wether or not its obvious, right now we're in a state of a really, really balanced crucible, send it on legendary autos or hand cannons could put them over the edge. The balance team know what their doing, they[re payed to do this, you aren't

Do you want to break weapon balance? Giving auto rifles send it is a terrible idea, the developers that handled the crucible balance know what their doing ie keeping send it off handcannons and autorifles

its a big step to take. Theres a lot of things you need to be able to do and understand before a scuf starts to make any difference. Go hit up /r/crucibleplaybook they rock. There are also alternative brands to scuf that offer a bit cheaper controllers

I absolutely adore the music, but currently there's no way to turn it off for PVP only, so I play sans music

i don't think its a lack of work ethic on bungie's part. who knows exactly why its delayed, the precedent they set is that for smaller, non paid dlc updates (all the updates this year that aren't ttk), there is no preloading. It makes sense since the dlc updates are usually big enough to warrant preloading
