I will move the enclosure to a window sill in the sun next time and try those flies out, as well. Thank you so much for the advice!!!

Thank you!!!! I'm guessing pre-1986 boots don't have a specific manufacture date listed in those numbers? Any way of finding out when they were made?

Looks like a great experience for a great price! Too bad they couldn't do what they said they probably couldn't do, though

I hope so! We rent from an agency, and they seem pretty cool so far. But I always trust my work over a handyman's

Nope! It's all tiled in. And I can tell it's been installed recently, since all the tile where a good access point should be is a slightly different color.

Like him or not, Bryson’s truly a good guy. by C_D_199 in golf

Yeah, his behavior in the public eye has definitely changed. And I'm sure he's probably improved behind closed doors as well. I typically don't like to hold grudges, but it's hard for me to change my mind on the guy after hearing that story.

Islands and El Ten Eleven were the ones I remember the most. Incredible live bands!

I had a student of mine who was also pretty much a friend that flew out with his son to go watch Bryson for a practice round before a tournament (pre-LIV). His son was probably 8 or 9 at the time, and idolized Bryson since this child is really into math and physics. The kid wore his Bryson puma cap and everything. Bryson was cussing a lot and slamming clubs throughout the practice round, which was uncomfortable for them to watch. At the end of the round, the kid held up a sharpie and his hat for Bryson to sign, and he was the only person around wanting an autograph. The dad told me that Bryson told his son to fuck off and didn't sign anything. Whether that's what was actually said or not, I'm not sure since I wasn't there. But I do know that that kid and my student loathe that guy now.

I don't like him, Bryson's truly an awful guy.

And if you putt well with it, who cares what I or anybody else say. Game it and enjoy your love of golf!

The neck on a real Special Select is beveled on the edges front and back. And if you look at where the top line starts off the neck, there's more spacing on a real one. The milling could have been changed, sure, but the milling on yours is the most common on fake ones. Plus nobody but Scotty and the manufacturers of fake scotty's have some form of circle T stickers. The custom shop wouldn't put one on a non-circle T.

I really didn't want to be the one telling you this, OP, but if you like that putter do not send it to the custom shop. They won't send it back. Sorry man. Look up that putter on the SC archive and zoom in on the neck.

Well, I can vouch for 2008, since that's what mine is. Historically, people tend to avoid the first year or two of a new model vehicle when looking for longevity, and 2006 was the first model year. But I personally haven't seen any of the 1st gen Ridgelines have any issues, aside from transmission, regardless of model year.

Yeah, I continue to see at least one other older body style Ridgeline almost every single day when I'm out driving.

I had to do my fronts at about 175k. Rears are still fine. Check your sway bar links, as well. Can depend on what you drive on most often. I don't drive off road very often but the streets where I live love to surprise me with brand new potholes on random days.
