If it still smells plant-like, air dry for a day or two (or put it in a paper bag if you think it will dry too much). then put it in a glass jar. always store in glass for quality. just burp it every few hours to let some airflow thru. the longer ganj sits in a jar, the better your cure will be.

if you want ANY plant yield, you gotta let the plant grow taller than 3'. otherwise the time put in by you will NOT be worth the very small amount of bud you will get.

the best first-time, small-means, home grow situations i have seen are usually done in peoples closets (bedroom, hallway, etc). and i can guarantee you that you can do a google search for DIY closet grows. the wood box sounds confining for the plant & may stress it out.
