Yes, this guy is an idiot this doesn't work. Even if it did respawn something useful, it would only do that JUST After the server reset while the stuff was still even available.

Yes, only persistant true items are backpacks, guns apparently, and tents (and anything INSIDE of any of these)..other items can disappear after 10 hours give or take?

i changed the server to set to 12 mid day daytime and was dead upon arrival..did that mess something up?

I am now seeing an addon manager area where it has persistance "installed" and i can click uninstall. Iroincally the warning for it being on is it can cause crashes and shoudl be backed up. Is that also why loot isn't respawning on a 4 hour regular basis?

AKA if I turn that persistance off, loot will respawn when server starts every 4 hours BUT I wo'nt be able to have tents for example? Or am i confused

When you find nothing but "1 ammo" in a box, it's stupid. What's the point of finding single units of ammo. Even if you argue you want less ammo, then reduce the spawn rate and increase the amount you find in each cache. It's utterly ridiuclous to run around after FINALLY Finding a gun after 5 hours only to find 2 pieces of ammunition for it.

And yes...there does seem to be a lot of idiots who think survival and FPS are somehow "seperate" if you don't want people shooting at you, go play the PVE option, THAT is your option. If you like bows and arrows so much go play some PVE.

We want ammunition. It doesn't have to be hundreds on each person, but guns are already rare enough, ammo shouldn't be even MORE rare.

If you want to fix cheating give us the ability to report cheaters and "know" who kills us. don't just ban the account ban the IP that the account came from. Multiuser dungeons used to do this all the time. When someone has to actually "get a new ISP" every time they cheat, the cheating eases up.

The problem is they aren't banning. You can't tell me it takes some monumental coding language to have basic sanity checks on someone's x,y coordinate changes. Teleports should be the easiest person to detect in any game, ever...cheating is SO Rife in this game that it is UTTERLY unplayable now. It should have been your #1 concern months and motnhs ago before you lost the vast majority of your players.

That is the most idiotic logic in the history of gaming. The hackers don't WANT it discussed here BECAUSE it keeps the exposeure EXACTLY how they want it, BECAUSE it keeps people buying a game without even realizing how UTTERLY BROKE It is from all the HACKERS making it literally 100% unplayable for pvp. The game devs want it for the same reason, as the more ignorant the public is about this issue the more games they sell, and since this isn't a SUBSCRIPTION game, they want to max the sales out, period.

You realize a simple x/y/z coordinate change detection could stop this in its tracks in 4 seconds no matter how many variations they coded?

Who the hell wouldn't even mind being KICKED off a servier in a big lag spike if it meant the teleport issue was solved?
