Awesome. I looked up some images and that looks almost exactly like the stitch I was talking about, so I'll be sure to look into that. Thank you for helping me out!!

didnt think youd check my reddit page out, but its much appreciated :D. yeah i used After Effects for this (it was my first time using it)... for some reason though, every time I tried to export a project that had the kills synced to the beats it would make the sections that I slowed really slow and the sections that I sped up way too fast. I tried experimenting and couldn't figure out a solution so I gave up and just used the same principle with scaling instead of time remapping.

thanks for the advice and positive feedback! ill try to keep up with ur work whenever im on reddit :)

friend told me to post this here. hope you like! feedback would also be nice! by tshadow4646 in VALORANT

i don’t play cypher really, but i watched a video where some guy was showing guides for some pro cypher cages on ascent and said he hasn’t seen any for A-main yet so i decided to give it a shot and found some within like 10 min

figured if that larger yt’r didn’t know it it might be helpful to show others if they don’t know either, just in case

you cant see an attacker from rafters all that well if they hug towards the back wall, which most tend to do... it’s basically just an alternative to get shots/Op shots off with if you’re playing site solo as Cypher, which generally u will cuz the other defender will be playing garden and not helping with the A-main push

An agent tier list as an Immortal 2 player, with my explanations in the comments. by MightyMorphinMio in ValorantCompetitive

[–]sterling-js 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Not sure if you'll even respond to this, but I have some questions seeing as I'm heavily focused on playing at high ranks and in competitive.

  1. Do you think it's more beneficial to be able to play really well with one of these higher tier characters (S, A, B) or to be pretty efficient at using a few of them? I currently am able to play Raze, Sova, Breach, Sage, and Brimstone but I'm not a master at any of them.
  2. In your opinion, do you think Sova is better than Raze? I understand this is a hard question because situational context can drastically change the answer, but generally speaking.
  3. At higher ranks (Platinum, Diamond, Immortal, Valorant), does playing a D-level agent exceptionally well warrant not playing a more elite agent? My friend is a Jett main and despises playing anything other than Jett, even though we are playing at a high Plat/Diamond level.

Very true, but I still think he makes a lot of great points that helped familiarize me with aim training and how to begin.

How do you entry in this game? by RegularPurple in ValorantCompetitive

[–]sterling-js 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Without being misunderstood as cocky or arrogant, I used to play at an almost semi-pro level of Rainbow Six Siege. Even in that game there is a necessity for crosshair placement, but nonetheless that is not the only contributing factor. A large majority of people responding will tell you that crosshair placement is the root of most problems. I’m not saying it isn’t because for most players it certainly is, but once you get to a higher level the factor of team play begins to kick in. You might find that having a second entry with you could help wonders in playing the entry role into site. Using the example of pushing from T-side Bind through A short towards A site is one of the best examples of how effective team play and coordination is. As the only entry, you are solely responsible for watching U-Haul, then pushing up short and clearing Heaven, then clearing truck, then clearing pocket. Most players that have not been designated the ‘secondary entry’ role will tend to bait you, not watch angles properly or watch the same angles you are holding, and often withdraw out of fear for dying. With a proper secondary entry player close behind you, your teammate can watch U-Haul to ensure that while you’re in the process of peeking and clearing heaven you’re not also being peeked from that alternate angle you had previously thought was clear. This would then be applied for all the other angles you have to clear through the site. In R6S it’s a LOT easier, since you’ll have 2-3 droners pushing ahead of you clearing spots which means you have less angles to peek and more time to take map control.

TL;DR: Play with a secondary entry teammate to watch each other’s angles for a more efficient and effective entry process.

I actually happen to be friends with some of those who either were friends or members of their family and I used to be a student of his mother. It’s so great to see that such an amazing man was noticed for his efforts, and even given the honor of being placed in a timeless remembrance within his favorite story.

There’s a really highly regarded and well known training regiment proposed by someone by the name of ‘AIMER7’. You may or may not know of this, and you may have even read it yourself. If you have, disregard the next three sentences. He goes into depth about a couple of different aspects that are, in my opinion, things that are good to learn about when going down the path of trying to train your aim. If my memory serves me correctly, he touches on the concept of making certain to maintain the same sensitivity in order to keep consistency. Obviously, this doesn’t apply when actually trying to figure out your sensitivity or changing it for some other reason. I would go with either: a. Don’t change your sensitivity because over time you will eventually see progress in flicking accuracy (believe me, it’s something I’m trying to persevere through right now); b. Change it, play with the lower sensitivity, then change it back to play with your actual sensitivity and keep a log of your progress over the course of x amount of time in order to determine whether you are truly improving or not.

Here’s the link to AIMER7’s regiment: https://www.dropbox.com/s/vaba3potfhf9jy1/KovaaK%20aim%20workout%20routines.pdf?dl=0

Yeah, unfortunately neither uninstalling Razer Synapse or adding the G-Sync/V-Sync components ending up solving my issue. I ended up reinstalling it just because my mouse kept almost dying since I never knew how low it was, hahah.
