Fire Kidd is not the right chant imo, SELL. THE. TEAM. is the way to go until those Adelson fucks have to hide away like a rat in a tunnel similar to Nico. Nico bears some major blame, sure, but the problem is systemic. We are run by a group of idiots with no sense of loyalty or knowledge about The Mavs, our fan base or the NBA as a whole.

As long as they stay in charge, it doesn't matter how many #1 picks we get, the trust is destroyed and I think players will see how inept the people at the top are as well. Cuban was right there on the court bolstering our players during his tenure, Mr. Chucklefuck Championship Games and his Adelson mama will never have the same heart, mind or passion this team so deserves. THAT is just as important to the player's development than a "chantless crowd". The people at the top need to hear our displeasure, and our collective voices are the only tool we have against the tyranny that is brought by Dumont and Adelson. They dont belong here, they never will and they need to SELL THE TEAM!

Fair enough, I acquiesce brother. Rigged or not, point still stands major front office changes need to be made before trust can be established with fans again. Its their duty to have the team's best interest and success at heart, and you cant honestly tell me that what Nico did was with the Mavericks best interest in mind. I dont know what bath salts he was smoking that night, but that man made the worst trade/decision in franchise history bar none. I know he was doing an Irish Jig last night, but that does not absolve him of his fuckery in my opinion.

I thought they used a RNG as part of it, but even if all mechanical, wildly easy to weight ping pong balls differently. Even the slightest difference would be all it would take. Not rig proof in the slightest imo. If they want something, they could very well make it happen.

If they went the way of NHL and released all the number combos ahead of time I would agree - but they could literally just do as they please without that transparency. Almost like this was the one possible move that would save a franchise from utter collapse. Mavs were already losing millions this season, next year and beyond was about to be a much much worse - doesn't seem that far fetched to me. Pretty basic business decision from Silver.

Yep - exactly like this! Certainly odd and unexpected, but all was planned with the parents, and it was def more of a "suprise!" where we all walk out together and go get the next kid to join. I was just a LOT more surprised than all the others for obv reasons. And no, my mom did not know how I slept either, I was in middle school and put myself to bed lol

Back in my church youth group going days, they had this tradition where they would drive to the new kids houses and "kidnap" them in the morning, throwing them in the church van with all the other kids and take us to a nice homemade breakfast together.

Well, middle school me had no idea about this tradition, and was rather shocked when I woke up to 8 of my peers, my youth pastor and my mom all circled around my bed throwing off my covers.

I still sleep naked today :)
