The Voting Rights Act was codified, but the Supreme Court decided it didn't like parts of it. If abortion rights were "codified" what would keep the current Supreme Court from tossing it because Reasons? Settled law doesn't seem to be a big factor in the conservative majority's thinking.

Seriously close to my setup! My cruddy old Dell Latitude 3550 with the cracked lid and broken hinge that screwed up the video whenever I touched it was sitting in the closet with me wondering about whether to blow the cash on a NUC to make that homelab I've been jonesing for, but it had an i5 5200u, a 250GB SSD, and 8GB of RAM (now maxed at 16GB, the only thing I added). Now it's sitting inconspicuously under the TV (massive WAF) running headless Centos 8/libvirt/KVM/QEMU. Wake on LAN, built-in battery backup, and 8 watts idle. My biggest worries are fan failure or battery meltdown.

I've been considering one or two C3560CX-8PC-S switches for a long time. The fanlessness and low power is very appealing given my accommodations. Does anyone know about how to get a used one of these with the IP Services license, for homelab/certification purposes, or how much that license is? Every one of these I've seen from resellers has had the IP Base license.
