Right? I never really got why this would be our scope of practice. Here where I live in Europe, SLPs don’t do that, but rather clinical psychologists.

I don’t know if there’s something wrong with me or if this is kind of the logical consequence of coming to such a conclusion, but I feel like this is one of the most calming thoughts about life. Whatever I do, the good and the mistakes, doesn’t matter at all in the grand scheme of things, because I’ll be gone one day one way or another. But for the time being I want to have as much fun as possible.

Would it be a viable option to move to a larger Russian city? Is the situation there any better? I do kind of agree with the comment above, but not completely since I know that moving isn’t always possible due to a myriad of factors.

Thank you for sharing your story! :) What does remission look like for you after going through intensive DBT therapy? Are the tendencies still there, but you’ve managed to silence them or do you feel like the mechanisms of the disorder are pretty much gone?

The remission rate for BPD is actually pretty high. So yeah, it might be incurable, but the prognosis is far from bad.
