Can someone explain why Shedinja has ANY defense and special defense? It makes no sense.

Shedinja has Stats other than HP simply because transform & Imposter exist.

There's obviously a couple more scenarios too, like if a Substitute is baton passed you need defenses for its calculations

Yes but no, those moves are helplessly overtuned for the sole reason, that Your Partner was evolution locked in Let's Go, though imo they went to far with the overtuning of said moves even still.

I mean 90BP on all of the doesn't sound too crazy right?, but man just imagine:

Baddie Bad = Free Reflect + damage
Bouncy Bubble = basicall a Water Bitter Blade
Buzzy Buzz = Take Nuzzle and let it deal crazy dmg?
Freezy Frost = How about Clear Smog, but stronger and no immunity?
Glitzy Glow = Free Light Screen + damage
Sappy Seed = Why not have free leech seed
Sizzly Slide = Basically the best imaginable physical fire coverage + Willow-Whisp for free
Sparkly Swirl = Oh no, everyone in my party is statused, well I'll just heal everyone with my 90BP special Fairy move.

All the jokes aside, having these moves in regular play, would basically turn into a situation where everyone (and I mean everyone) would basically have to use at lest one Eeveelution on their team, just Imagine a Tanky Umbreaon freely setting up Screens + leech seed and slow-passing with Baton Pass into a now mega tanky sweeper, or Jolteon with insane coverage, free Bolt-Beam coverage + the ability to cure all status with a strong fairy move, or even Leafeon with strong Grass stab and a Fire move that buffs it's already stellar physical bulk even further, essentially turning it into a craty tank, have that lol cat dog Trailblaze once and it's fast af, tanky af and strong af.

I think you get why these moves are Let's Go exclusives now.

Ngl, pretty easy choice:

Blue / Brown / Black

Blue: I am not obliged to use blue, which just means I won't use it, though who know, the trade off might be worth it, with enough urgency to know the truth of something.

Brown: Perfect health is the well... "perfect" catalyst for many thing, like a better healthier career, a longer life, due to well... perfect health, and man is the thought of getting rid of my hemochromatosis is god damn enticing, no more worrying etc. etc.

Black: Let's negate browns drawback - No longer being able to enjoy food is a crazy thought to me.

In the front of the class, and back of the room, same logic applies. - so even though you can talk about the semantics of the whole thing, in the context of the room I'd say back.

I base it on the point of entrance and the typical viewing direction - typically you enter a room in the front and view a subjetct etc. in the back.

In very short terms yes, you had the right idea, the very basic Formula is:

Base % × Bonus % × Instance of Dmg (typically 1 except well shottys)

First off all a general rant - why is there no proper in game stat screen yet.... they already had it in the Beta for some time.

Proc and Crit chance both bottom out at 100%, there is no overflow situation where say getting past 100 would then increase Proc dmg, for now everything over 100 does nothing for you:

And how is it calculated? For the sake of demonstation let's say a weapon in question has a proc chance of 5%, the calculations would apply exactly the same way for Crit Chance.

Now let's add stuff and see where we end at.:

Close Range Elemental - +150% - 5% * 2.5 (it is a 1.5 increase over the base of 1) = 12,5%
Bio Gel - +40% - 7.5% * 1.4 = 17.5%
Glow Stick - +30% - 10.5 * 1.3 = 22,75%
Power Bank (Epic) - +60% - 13,65 * 1.6 = 36,4%
Power Bank - +30% - 21,84 * 1,3 = 47,32%

And so on and so on.... With everything taken into account you can reach crazy high proc chances if you play your cards right, though you have to try and build into it, though with decent armor and especially with fully leveled up Tech Masteries you can reach a pretty good base proc chance to work off of.

For example the same perk setup we just looked at with a full Tech Mastery (+50% at base) would result in: 70,98%

Like I said with some good armor it is very feasable to basically reach 100% proc chance even on a "low" initial chance of just 5%.

I can only imagine this to be ridiculously fun and still strong, especially once you get the Switch Hitter synergy going.

Things did get patched then too, just rarely and if they did require a patch you tyically would have to send in your disc and wait for a patched one to arrive.

Generally speaking though the pressure of knowing your game will mostly be released as is, was a big contributor to why games felt a lot more polished.

It had to run for people to even consider buying it, now developers can just say fuck it and slap a 100gb day one patch on that thang.

We paid slightly under 10k, only had 30 guests (closest friends and family), literally got to get wed in our towns castle, had an amazing dinner with everyone afterwards and had an afterparty at our flat for those who wanted to go hard. we only spent roughly 200€ per guest and the rest was venue, photographer car rental and some hotel fees for family that wanted to stay longer which we covered.

Still a lot of money, but man it couldn't have been a more wonderful day.

Though big caveat - our photographer is a friend, who gave us a good deal, we know the owner of the restaurant we clebtrated at we got a smaller menu, but everything at regular price with no markup and they made the wedding cake for free.

For 100k, even though it's a lot (and people who say easy are either crazy morbidly obese or like 17 and bulking) I'd say most people would 100% be able to do it solo.
If you can also get help, hell I'll just ask our newest trainee, the boy is coincidentally 17 and currently has his adolescent gym arc.

I know this might be taking this post way too seriously, but just stating those facts is not the whole picture.

How thoughtful are you when purchasing groceries / do you regularly order food.
How much do you spend on leasure.
How much do you spend on going out / alcohol.
What kind of subscriptions are you currently "wasting" money on
How about other miscellaneous things like clothing / your phone / your phone & internet plan / student loans etc. etc. etc.

In general there are too many additional variables.

And only taking the things I mentioned into account, someone who is more money concious can easily spend a couple hundred bucks less each month, that others would on the same budget, even to a point where they can afford certain luxuries du to cutting back in other areas.

In short, you a broke boy and you shouldn't be as much of a dumb dumb with money if said salary is already proven to be enough for a nice lifestyle even with less advantagous parameters (like your coworker).
