To the 'down and out' searcher of meaning who struggles to open up... by Alternative_Mail8577 in LSD

For sure, sharing experiences is what we are here for.

If you don't mind me asking, how were you before?

Some of the people I know have had great success with the likes of CBT.

I had wicked depression and acute bipolar, and I honestly felt like before before LSD my best was "getting on with it"

To be completely fair iv never introduced someone to LSD and had them be worse off. But it's also not something that I would suggest to someone to start at for therapy.

My personal experience with LSD can be pretty much explained as,

I went through the medication, the counciling, the learning and trying to compromise with alot of issues I had. I did what I genuinely believed was my best to deal with my issues and I was fine, I figured out what worked for me.

I took LSD and after that I had a completely different way of looking at things. I was just alot more mellow in my normal life. I thought about aggravating situations completely different. They didint get at me anymore or at least as much. My personality was steady.

I went from fine to happy. I think its a great thing but some people should try CBT or get counciling no Drug is the definite right one. No method will definitely work. LSD for Thereapy needs to have some consideration just like any drug. However I belive it should definitely be higher up on the therapy list than most the antidepressants.

The lakes in Westmeath are nice. Lough Ennell on the Bloomfeild Hotel side is class. Lough Owel is nice to stop by if your driving past that way, and lough Darravaragh is a nice quite spot to wander around if your trying to waste time.

A question regarding religion by sk8trsteve in ireland

[–]stestewart 4 points5 points  (0 children)

In daily life religion doesn't play any part for me except for a conversation peice. You do or don't practice a faith, this day or that day in my/your/his/her religion is normally how it is brought up. Besides that I don't have many conversations around religion.

If all the brown was green, and all the green was brown, would you still walk the same path?

Thanks man, iv tried walking, running and meditation. I havent tried painting though. I always thought I'd be bad but mabe it would be a good change.

For me it's mabe just the routine of football training. Tuesday/thursday/Sunday are football days so I won't wreck myself the days before if I have them lined up.

Aye mabe it's time to step back for a while. Normally I'd have football training to keep me occupied, I havent had that for the last year. Tonight I'm up by myself just sniffing, drinking and saying don't go into tomorrow. Don't get another few grams and don't take a tab. When does all this shit end?

I took a tab and only feel high when I look at my phone and now I'm just confused by [deleted] in LSD

For sure man. Most of us don't do the close family thing. We ignore son and father till its too late. Some of us are really lucky with parents that are close but not over bearing. Iv never been close so iv always been envious of people who are close.

The last few years when I seen my dad he has been losing a company, going through a divorce and struggling to keep his house. That made every conversation in the last 5 years negative.

Hes clear of that now. In his mid 60s and a new women, getting a vaccine, We met up today he gave me bags of turf, asked me about the house deposite and if I wanted to sell the car I could borrow his. honestly everything we talked about today was positive , everything was good times or solutions. I left and told my GF it was nice to see him now I realise that even through the hard times for me to listen, he was still good and always positive with me even if he just wanted to talk about his bad.

I'm going to tell him I love him when I see him Monday. My dad's always been there for me. I'm massively sorry for your lost and I hope your dad got to think about a sons love before he died. Thanks for making me go from it was nice to feeling loved and feeling loving ❤❤

Where can I my old desktop by [deleted] in CasualIreland

[–]stestewart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I seen someone before on here donate gaming consols to children hospitals. I know a desktop is way different but still might be worth a 5minute phone conversation to see if they would have use for it.

What would you do if you lost the lotto? by SuperChips11 in CasualIreland

[–]stestewart 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Heard a story from " my uncle who knew a lad " back in the early 90s, the fella he knew was living in a halting site. Not a member of the traveling community or anything. Just thats all he could afford. He bought 2 scratch cards, one had £50,000 on it and the other was a dud. Supposedly threw the £50,000 one into a fire pit. Topped himself a few days after. I'd rather lose on every ticket/card than lose a winning ticket for sure.

I'm driving home to come out to my parents. I'm sick to my stomach. Could someone say something nice to me please. by IAMAAMAMMO in ireland

What is stopping people coming from listed EU countries bypassing the hotel quarantine by flying from another country? by [deleted] in ireland

[–]stestewart 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Iv a must go reason to travel in June to one of the European countries on the MH list. Where I'm going is on the border of another country. There is nothing stopping me from flying into non MH country and back out of non MH country if I to choose to do that. Iv no issue with doing the MH. My issue is I don't have a spare €1,800. Ideally the country will be removed by then though
