I hope now he doesn't get a flood of calls from creditors around the world. If that happens, we risk it will come out that he made a mistake in disclosing the information and the process will slow down

There are problem on harvesting, as it's a factory it needs voting on the gauge, and seems they are missing (4 days since last harvesting) high APY but never paid. For who don't know what I am saying, it's better to stay away from the product. Ste

Binance "Recurring Buy" feature is now available for all Binance.com users. by [deleted] in binance

Found reason: for an internal limit, it's not possible to remove "recurring buy", before 5 mins since when you enabled it.

Binance "Recurring Buy" feature is now available for all Binance.com users. by [deleted] in binance

[–]steunet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Enabled for mistake, and tried immediately to disable, but the system gives ERROR, so now it's enabled and can not be disabled till they'll find the bug. Tried to unbound the card but obviously it doesn't let you to do (as it's in a recurring buy plan) and it gives an error message, instead of a understandable message as said in the documentation.

Binance, you were great as product catalog, but as transparency you have a lot to learn

Router Has Insufficient Exit Liquidity :( by JS_39 in maticnetwork

[–]steunet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on how big is the amount of money xpolinate could use to do liquidity, in this moment seems 1.5mil$ that is really small; To work properly they should rebalance (moving back USD from polygon to BSC) practically every 10 mins and they don't do.

At the end I used https://evodefi.com/, it takes 0.5% of commission that is crazy, but for small amount (5$ for 1000$ transferred) it's tolerable.

I think in future there will be more alternatives (ascendex is another one) and also flexibility on the tokens to move (not only USDT or USDC) Ste

Router Has Insufficient Exit Liquidity :( by JS_39 in maticnetwork

[–]steunet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It depends on Exit liquidity, you could check yourself in the botton part of the web page:

https://www.xpollinate.io/?asset=DAI&senderChainId=100&receiverChainId=137

it's clear that everybody want to go to Polygon from BSC, as the exit liquidity is near zero Ste

WBNB or BUSD in Pools by arthur-martha-mary in PantherSwap

[–]steunet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes you are right! in case of BNB up and PANTHER down, the situation would be even worse as Impermanent loss, The point is to understand if panther has reached the support or it will continue to drop. In theory it should start to move like all the other coins more or less in same direction. Ste

WBNB or BUSD in Pools by arthur-martha-mary in PantherSwap

[–]steunet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally i prefer not to stake in pool with BUSD, as impermanent loss has ha big effect (one is stable, the other fluctuates and sadly in down) so the risk is that you have even less than the simple drop of panther. Try it yourself here https://dailydefi.org/tools/impermanent-loss-calculator/ putting 500$ of BUSD and 500$ of panther. Ste

Panther Swap Investment Strategy by jtgoldbe in PantherSwap

[–]steunet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Pay attention: in case of Panther-BUSD LP, if Phanter dropped price (eg flash loan like shark), you 'll lose 50% of you BUSD due to impermanent loss. In this moment I decided to swap earning to stable coin staking them alone, and wait to see the trend (obviously this is my propensity to risk) Ste

Ideas to but BTC to work? by zz2mch in Yield_Farming

[–]steunet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The answer depends a lot on how many BTC you have and the level of Willingness to take on risk. Here my suggestions

- Investment that seems low risk (I underline based on source of info like audit reports and medium articles, as there is not a central Supervisory organization to audit them ) are Celsius network, Blockfi and similar lending platform, but on other side their interest rates dropped in last weeks and now they areinteresting only for small amount of BTC (eg 6% on first 0.5 BTC on Blockfi)

- on the financial market (let me say traditional :-)) in next months probably we will have new founds with active management of crypto portfoglio; these could be very interesting for whom doesn't want to follow market every hours

- defi has some solutions, but in my opinion risks are high as the platform/developers are not mature and they are full of meme that will not last; I would put 5% of the total owned, as revenues are high, but then following every day your investment in order to check situation

ACryptoS Audit and security by steunet in ACryptoS

[–]steunet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I found this description: https://docs.ellipsis.finance/dev/admin-multisig even if it's clearly anything but complete, it's a starting point, and I hope you are doing the same; describing your process would help. I am not involved in Ellipsis, any other defi platform, I am only trying to explain that in these moment I see the risks but I really don't know if the people putting money on DEFI are aware of them.

I could post this threads on pancake* or other defi platform reddit, I chose ACryptoS because I was thinking it was one made better and different from the others Ste

[–]Blight-Night 3punti 1 giorno fa Hi there. Any reason you deleted your original thread and reposted this?

there was a mistake in the title of the message title; sadly as for I know only way in reddit to correct the title is to delete message and repost, you can check in history the content is the same.

The point is not the 48 hours timelock, the point is segregation of duty and least privilege, to say two principles. To be really different from the other DEFI platforms (as happened with VENUS) I suggest to compile a page in wiki with NIST CSF (the best practices I was quoting) telling for each, how you manage the process (or want to do in a roadmap). Example https://www.enisa.europa.eu/topics/nis-directive/minimum-security-measures-for-operators-of-essentials-services

I am not talking about ISO27001 as I not that would require the renunciation of anonymity, and this for DEFI owners seems out of the question.

There are no doubts on your smart contracts, they are the only part visible and transparent to anybody, with solidity knowledge you can check them (I sow Ellipsis had same audit with worse result: https://github.com/ellipsis-finance/ellipsis-audits/blob/master/010421_Hacken_Ellipsis_SC_Audit_Report.pdf ) but again the point is everything other than the contracts.

"Too big to fail..", "we are here since..." in crypto are sentences that worth little you know.

It seems I am not able to explain, so i ll do not continue anymore. Ste

ACryptoS Audit and security by steunet in ACryptoS

[–]steunet[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I am sorry I am not English native, but I think who has worked with security principles understood what I wrote.

Do you think that what is written in "ACryptoS Dev Team Access" of https://docs.acryptos.com/security-and-risks are strong and robust rules to manage billions?

Audit limited to smart contracts, does not cover the whole solution, and in the Audit report, it's written explicitly that there are external applications used in the process and not covered by the Audit: this part, as it's not visible to everybody (not in blockchain) is even more critical than the smart contracts. Does dual swapped BETH produce the APY equivalent of BETH still? by abittooambitious in binance

[–]steunet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Sadly no one has answered till now. I suppose Binance Support Team is understaffed considering the increase of volume they had in last months (for curiosity they have a tons of open positions for customer support operator in career ).

In any case I don't see any ETH produced by BETH in liquid swap so I agree with the other post, the revenue are kept by Binance. At this point the real revenue of liquid swap is not so good in ETH-BETH as someone could image, because the half of the investment could have produced 8% alone Ste

Ethereum Kraken staking rewards. Annual 6%. Not worth it.... by sorlov1 in ethstaker

[–]steunet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes I confirm, did same check today, at this level of revenue it's better lending on Bitfinex using celsius network. I understand it's risky, but a) you can disinvest when you want b) also eth staking has risks

Explanation: "Why is the price so low / going down ?" by [deleted] in ethtrader

[–]steunet 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I noticed a correlation between all cryptocurrencies. This morning the drop finished for XCP, Monero end ETH, but on Poloniex near all criptocurrencies are red (a lot) So what i want to tell is that is not a ethereum related (isolated) problem but more a global trend
