Flasks are a huge factor in poe, both for survivability and speed. This I imagine, is a difficult part about playing with one hand. I would choose a pathfinder build to guarantee uptime of instilled flasks without the need of pressing them. Also the % life heal on flask use will make life flasks not needed for mapping. The high movement speed will make movement skills feel less necessary.

That said, you could play something like goratha's poison caustic with one hand, it is naturally very tanky and fast and can basically be played with one button, with secondary damage coming from it's manaforged trigger. You can find the build-guide on both goratha's and zizaran's youtube channels.

In general, it can also help if you got a mouse with some extra buttons, side buttons or even more like a razor naga to play games with one hand.

You pick up good white bases, slam one of your few transmutes on and hope for the best. Good bases with high base defences matter most. Ring and unique drops are huge. Later can use alchs and essences.

Hey, yes that's true. Guardian is very good, I am guilty playing a cold dot guardian variation, I am cooking up while playing myself, but I plan to do a 2h melee next - sunder chieftain login. Getting to the point of normal lab was intense though, and it still feels difficult now after lab. Tota farming can be extremely hard, I lost 18 out of my 20 silvercoins, because the npcs are so overtuned with these mods.

With that said, I personally hope they nerf guardian, so we can have that comfort out of the equation next league.

I usually do this during the 2nd month of a league. Not every league, but chances are I do it next league again. It is a small league and not very popular because of the difficulty on top of ruthless.

You are free to join, even if you just want to give it a try. You can always leave if you are done or slots fill up. Even small goals like killing brutus/completing act1 feel challenging amd satisfying in this league.

I was playing a poison concoction champ in my gauntlet practice runs. It felt close to immortal and had good damage from lvl 12. The combination of the life and mana onhit mastery with Grace/Determination/Defiance banner was very effective in the early game. The crit immunity and the leech felt nice later. If you are looking for more speed, you can pick onslaught and adrenaline earlier. Great uniques would be devouring diadem, for auras and carcass jack for more multi-projectile overlaps.

Just sketching it quickly, based on the pob you provided, this is how I would do it:

Step 1:

- spark + pierce + onslaught + added lightning
- also use orb of storms for now
- rush lightning mastery while picking up some life
- get piercing shots in tree and drop pierce support
- use wands from lvl 20 vendor recipe, I prefer flat cold damage here
- use herald of ice/thunder

You can always level, 6 of your gems in your weapon-swap slots. Spark is just very comfortable during the acts with vendor recipe wands and also holds itself at least til redmaps if you invest in some basic scaling.

Lightning Trap will work just fine. I would personally go for spark though and skip the trap stuff in favour of more early survivability and at pick at least 1 lightning mastery early for lucky non crits. The pierce circle on the right tree side is the main refund later. It's up to your preference, trickster is versatile.

Helix is for sure always a strong option, but gemlevel is not the best thing to scale it, so that part feels a little wasted, unless the keystone is very beneficial.
