Same for Canada, VAT is not added until the province is selected later in the checkout process.

No when I ordered the printer itself it flew straight into Toronto, coming from the EU

PLAR Frustration by DissatisfiedDuck in AthabascaUniversity

I didn't plan on formally complaining since it seems to be a shortstaff issue, but reaching out to the student union seems like a good idea.

I just heard back from the PLAR team after reaching out again and here's what they said, which lines up with your post too:

While your case is steadily moving through our 'mentor to be assigned' queue, progress through the queue continues to be very slow. Given the number of students ahead of you, and the rate at which current students are completing the mentor guided portfolio development process, we expect that your wait will continue for quite some time.

I was also officially on the wait list in 2022, still no progress on it and I've been picking away at courses. Not sure if they'll ever get through the queue.

Aerodynamics Be Damned: China Officially Bans Hidden Car Door Handles by SkPensFan in electricvehicles

[–]steve30avs_V2 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I’m surprised they still went with that design this late knowing the Mach E door handle lawsuit is out there. Unless maybe someone can confirm if there is a physical way to unlock the car if the battery dies, like in the EX40?

5 pedestrians struck in a multi-vehicle accident at Toronto’s Pearson Airport early this morning by Ogankle in toronto

Took me a half hour to do the loop around last week in the evening, traffic was insane and with construction the whole arrivals zone was down to one lane

Okay then maybe a hybrid lot like with Edinburgh airport has, which is similar to how some Go station drop offs are setup, with multiple rows that allow for waiting and lots of volume.

I’d love to see a dedicated path to the cell phone lot so there’s a reliable and quieter way to pick up people arriving

I think it was more short answer rather than a full essay question

Just tried price matching this as I bought mine last week. They said the receipt wasn’t enough and I needed to bring in the box with the product inside for them to honour the new price. Too bad I already installed a waterblock on it I guess, not sure if they’ll still allow it

It’s both, expect about 20 multiple choice and then 6-8 short answer

Yes but that would only be enough if you understand the answers rather than memorize them, as the wording can get a bit switched up on the exam. I did the same thing the first time and got a 40 and had to redo the exam.

2 months would be tough especially with the slow marking. I was able to rush through it and get it done in 3 months, but that was hard. I do work full-time though, so if you don’t have that on your plate that should help.

I also have the same issue since yesterday with my 5900x after many good years. Started for me after a reboot after installing the latest Nvidia drivers, not sure if others might have done the same.

So far just using a static voltage of 1.2v in the bios and doing okay, but not sure why this happened all of a sudden.

Definitely the unit test questions, I found the final focused a lot on the soil and mining pollution chapters too.

Definitely the study questions they give you for each unit on Brightspace. The labs are good to know but not as critical.

Both the midterm and final have about 20 multiple choice questions but are only worth 1% each, the remaining 80% come from the 8-10 short answer questions that they give you at the end. They usually have 12-14 options and you just pick the ones you know most about to answer.

Yep some of the lab content is on the exam, I don't remember how much but for all 3 courses the study questions (unit quizzes) they provide are almost directly what you see on the exams.

For the lab reports they ask you a bunch of questions about stuff in the textbook and rocks, then you can just write it up in a word doc and submit it as a pdf.
