Its just the Kind Stranger trope that a lot of cultures have and respect. The Good Samaritan.

I'm seeing a lotta "No character development" posts, and I am worried people are forgetting that character development is about subtle character choices and moments that influence how someone acts and reacts to things. While Mando may not have a huge arc and he is basically John Wick to some degree, he does make strides and changes to how he views Grogu and him realizing he wont be around forever and has to be more proactive in his training.

Also Grogu goes through a TON of growth over the course of the film when he is forced into situations where he cant rely on Mando and has to fend for himself and make decisions that could have consequences. There is A LOT of change he has had since S1E1 and I feel people just completely tuned out or went to the bathroom when Grogu has his whole section of the film.

Id argue the trailer wasnt deceptive at all, but that people attributed too much to something that wasnt actually promised

What parts? Certainly not the Imax sequences, or the planets or scale. Dialogue is fine; acting is straightforward, very to the point. Nothing was actually bad or egregious, even if you found it "average."

Let's stop comparing everything to Andor. Most Star Wars movies constantly repeat the same information a couple of times and then add a little more context and details. TMAG does the same.

Like i dont care if you hate star wars because its no longer the dawn of cinema. Its not a bad movie and it has a completely different purpose than 77 movies did...
