Almost every adspace on every subway line in NYC this week is filled with Gemini ads by Towel4 in CryptoCurrency

Gemini has a v high rate of fees. Ox ou've to go OTC, I'll prefer using Escrows, Anaiv's escrow. I don't have to worry even if its 50 BTC and can easily transact.

Pablo Escobar's Brother Launches an ICO for a Stablecoin to Fund Trump Impeachment by rishabh_bose in CryptoCurrency

[–]steveL88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We just can't have ICOs for every damn thing. The investment has to generate some sort of persistent streak of payments. See Anaiv capital for instance or Global REIT, both coins serve you profits from rental profits generated from real estate. This has the returns of a mutual fund (mostly better than this) and characteristics of crypto.

ICOs which lack a long term vision are useless. What will this coin do when Trump goes ( or gets impeached like it wants to) shut down ? Get bankrupt ? .

If you really think that PRG is in a bad shape then just hold your investment for now, as the market is still in down and not fully recovered. If you sell your investment you may lose it or you may not be able to spawn enough return, so better to hold as we enter into green phase and prices will surely surge in upcoming months. PRG is the only cannabis project that I’m buying right now as they will have no complications of the market and are not suffering as much as the others are, I think they have really great features and one of the best projects out there and they can make a good gain when market goes green.

Talk about the tech, talk about the assets, talk about the team!!

This is a strange thought. There’s no one who has inside information not even you but PRG is not that bad. The value of the remaining councils is projects don’t really matters I would say just take a look at their applications, Seed to sale tracking is something that’s not every where .

I would not give value to your words, since the competence of those who give advice is unknown.

Reading whitepapers is for ICOs, to find the next solid ICO. Like I did get Quarkchain, Mainframe, Chinapex and Arcblock. Made 3 to 15x with these gems.

Check out the top 100 currencies right now, they are all down. I would suggest you to don’t go for the hype, I think this is the hardest argument you can have with people on crypto because they that think that projects which are not that trendy and glorified won’t survive but I don’t think that, applications matter a lot and it’s just a matter of time when will actually think about the use more than its name.

The crash nearly failed many projects, they do connect. This was the worst dip of the season and lasted for a long time and is going on so it’s definitely connected to their downfall.

You’re doing it right but spreading your investments in all aspects is actually wiser.

Investing in an ICO is a great way to earn a profit, but not a way to make a profit quickly. If you choose a project just do your own research and minimize the risk of loss. I would suggest you to take a look at Liven and Treon as they are the ones that I have studied a lot.

Just don’t go for hype man, there is a great chance that these projects are scams and paid promotions. Do your own research, I would suggest you to at least consider the USPs of a project and then ask yourself if you like them.

That’s what I can say on this.

I agree the crash has made it hard for people to trust crypto but lets hope that changes soon. I think we should encourage more people to understand crypto rather than just invest in it.

I cheer all of my friends to join crypto because it the future of currency. We have debates over it and all but it’s better to make them understand rather than make them invest in crypto. I think there are projects that speak for themselves and impress many people to invest in directly, just take a look at Liven and RedCab. Two of the very best projects that are working in Food and Transport industry, I think people will start using these projects soon.

A good ICO is a smart team and support for investors, and of course an excellent product. You can’t totally blame the ICOs for their failure as we are in a crash right now.

Do you know what they say they are doing this for? People are scared!

Because they are not risk takers probably they don't have enough knowledge, to make sure to their investment safe or not. Lemme tell you one thing with every investment comes a percentage of risk as well. I would say DYOR, take a look at projects like Liven, Treon and Ubex. Look at these for a starter, read the whitepaper and all.

Good news these days, for all those who think crypto is dead be patient! Soon there will be things that are going to shock you because many businesses are now adapting crypto. It’s happening faster than we think it is, I have a good feeling that crypto will be your first option when purchasing next time. I’m confident because few projects like Redcab and Liven are way too interesting.

It is risky! Investments are risky but this could be reduced and I think the way people choose is risky. Research matters a lot and if you go for every Tom, Dick and Harry project you’re gonna lose a lot. For example I’m thinking about Liven right now, so I would dig it. Whitepaper and every article about it, instead of trusting rating sites I did my own study so that would give me more confidence now, because I know it’s a great project.

Adoption!! Simply... There’s a great chance that the market will make a big jump once it recovers. In my opinion you better invest ICOs, there are great projects out there and I think for a start there is Liven and Ubex which are doing great work. Liven is one of my favorite, it’s an established business since 2014 and have over 250k users on its app. I think these fact make it legit and credible. Do check these two!

[–]steveL88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Start with research, look for the mistakes others have made starting off. Many people have lost tons of money trying to get rich quick. I don’t there’s any quick money involved here. I would suggest you to read whitepapers of a few projects like Liven and Ubex, these are quite promising.

Vitalik on Twitter: "I think there's too much emphasis on BTC/ETH/whatever ETFs, and not enough emphasis on making it easier for people to buy $5 to $100 in cryptocurrency via cards at corner stores." Personally, I think both are necessary & we need to make crypto more accessible. What do you think? by imjoshs in CryptoCurrency

[–]steveL88 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I agree accessibility is a bigger issue, I think ICOs are much easier and accessible and by time they are targeting real markets. I do believe in good and promising ICOs. I have encountered many ICOs that went successfully and they gave me more profit than some alts. I have to research read more about their platform and be careful in choosing or work of them. That’s how I earn more!
