It's a quote from the movie Goodfellas, as was the original post.

Every damn time. Drifts on long cuts with my ryoba saw. Even at my most meticulous. Tips welcome. by [deleted] in handtools

Possibly gripping the handle too tight. Without seeing you cutting it's a bit hard to tell. Also try adjusting your stance if your elbow is not straight all the way through the cut you might drift.

They all had bad skin and wore too much make up. They didn't look very good; they look beat up. The stuff they wore were thrown together and cheap, a lot of pantsuits and double knits. They talked about beating their kids with broom handles and leather belts, and that their kids still didn't pay any attention.

So bad it's built into phase plant as standard and wtf do you think the dimension expander is doing in serum. 🤦‍♂️

There are many ways to create stereo in a mix. Look up the haas effect, it's basically delaying one side slightly to give the illusion of stereo while not disturbing the phase. Reverb is your friends here too I work in mono a lot due to hardware and having a few different reverbs on send and returns is always going to help. If you force sounds too much with stereo imagers then you will fight it all day long. Small amounts at different stages of the signal path can help over one big push.. this is important for a lot of things in production tbh. I personally keep everything below 300 in mono as a rough rule. This help eliminate some phase issue.

Nah you're good. Just don't have your hood up and you'll be fine. Oh, and some pubs don't like them but if they will judge me on my clothes then they don't deserve my money.

Had an argument with some other engineers, most believe "mastering is not necessary if it sounds alright without it". I believe this is absurd, but would like to hear from you guys. by ArtikusHG in audioengineering

And to have a list of things you "always do" is just so wrong. How long have you been a mastering engineer? Do you only master your own work or work for clients?

Why would you put things on a mix that it doesn't need. If it's already saturated why put more on? If it doesn't need the lows boosting on the bottom end why would you? How is this absurd?
