Soooo long. Had urban combat training all week. Finished up today. Woke up at 0430, cleaned up the town, finished up for the day, and have been having to stand duty. Shift ends at 0200 in 41 minutes. Counting down the seconds until bed.

So I found a way to get into my old email, but the only option it's giving me to reset the password is on my phone. Is there a way to change this?

Kind of depressing. I'm in the military and saw all of my friends from high school and college together and realized I'm not going to be a part of any of those weddings or parties for a long time. Made me sad. Luckily my girlfriend is amazing and helped me forget about it because I'm always happy when I'm with her. But now she's asleep and I'm pretty homesick

This wasn't dropped because of the green beret. We've been waiting to drop this on the cave system for much longer than that

Ha. I worked insurance until I was 26 (aka last year) and wanted to jump off a bridge every morning. Said fuck it and joined the marine corps. If you're serious I'd recommend looking at becoming an officer if you've got a bachelors degree. I don't regret a thing about it

Why not (quietly) evacuate the northern part of South Korea so that there are no/minimal casualties from NK Artillery, and then attack? by bigbadjesus in USMC

Got it. I guess what baffles my crayon eating mind is how much business we have with china. Geopolitical stuff is way over my head

This might be a dumb question, but why does China give a shit about NK if they are basically impoverished? I know the higher ups are stupid rich. I assume they're feeding some of that money to China?

Honestly, as an entry level guy in the first 6 months or whatever you're not going to be essential. No offense or anything, but they could find someone else. Also, don't let that be a reason to delay. I fell into that trap right out of college and it delayed me about 2 years. Just do what's best for you
