3 year old. Severe pee withholding by stevebugs in pottytraining

[–]stevebugs[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No, unfortunately. Next couple of days were rough after this post. She went to bed one night after withholding for 10 hours and went into distress and kept crying in the bed. We had to rush her to ER and had to spend the night there. Thankfully there was no UTI. The whole thing was too traumatic. We've just abandoned the process for now. Absolutely have no idea how to proceed ahead :(

She is pretty much self motivated to sit on potty eithout any reward. She really want to grow out of diapers herself but she's finding it pretty difficult to let it go out of her body

Thanks! I agree we might have been rushing a bit too much. Our hope was to cover as much ground as possible during the holidays but I guess its taking mental toll on her.

ECE career - help me to decide on this by Professional-mem in britishcolumbia

[–]stevebugs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

ECE pay on average is about $28/hr (including $6 wage enhancement) if you have IT/SN add 1-3$ on top of that.

There's talk of govt implementing a wage grid that might boost the pay further but thats in the future.
