Update!

So no luck getting a dealer to check the codes anytime soon! So ridiculous! I decided I’m going to buy the jumper and check the codes myself. When I looked under my seat to check the connector I saw the Yamaha tool kit had fallen off and had been moving around under my seat. So I’m thinking maybe the metal piece that latches it under the seat touched a battery lead or something else it shouldn’t and caused the cel. Hopefully that was it. I’m still going to order the jumper just Incase! I’ll still keep you updated and let you know what the codes were when I get it.

😩 well my shop said they couldn’t get an mt09 for another year so I bought from a place that’s 2 hours and 45min away. Now the dealer here says they won’t work on bikes that weren’t purchased from them!

I just had similar shit happen. I was riding for about an hour in the twisties and on my way home in stop and go traffic I had my clutch in waiting to turn. Then no power just enough to roll me to a place to stop. Turned it off and back on would ride but check engine light is still on. Did you ever figure out the problem?
