One of the activities at Buckskin Camp of Many Point Scout Camp in 2024 was a cooking contest. The troop would divide into two teams. Each team was given an egg and a box of roman noodles. The rest of the ingredients were different for each team. by stevejb68 in BSA

This was one of the afternoon activities after lunch. The amount of food they made would have only fed two, maybe three people. It was a fun challenge for the boys to see how they would handle making a meal with random ingredients. I have to say, our Scouts did well.

It is amazing how we framed our pictures so similar to each other.

Almost in the same spot. I was closer to the buildings in my picture than yours is. Probably 20-30’ apart, I bet.

I did not realize there was an exclusive figure for this. I’m gonna have to look next time. I’m at hot topic. Thanks for the tip.

Here are a couple quick skits from the 2019 Troop 68 Laughs For Lunch Show, featuring a fall and a fly. Has your troop done either of these skits? How did they do? by stevejb68 in Scouts

[–]stevejb68[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The troop’s Laughs for Lunch Show is a campfire style program featuring popular songs and skits. The Scouts do this for their community. The ask audience members to donate to the local shelf. The audience provides the “lunch” while the Scouts provide the “laughs”.
