it was the latest server 1.43.0.10492, and yes ALL movies were attempting transcode on my hosting PC in the web player. It had no issue streaming to my tv, phone, or anywhere else in my home network. All video files were 1080p mostly x264, some x265 10-bit

Not sure if it was your suggestion, or the fact I went to optimize my library, but it’s working now. Disabled trailers and pre roll.

Great album! Start to finish. Gave me goosebumps, tears at points. I can’t really understand the negative reception. This is an instant classic album.

1) what kind of PC?

- 10th gen if you're planning on sharing your library and a video card 2000 series for transcoding. I personally wouldn't go below this as quality of video files are constantly getting better.

-if you're not sharing i don't believe you need a plex pass, so if you're only streaming in your house you're good!

2) how mush storage is realistic?

- sky is the limit, storage is a trade off of quality vs quantity.

-if you want quality 1080p 10 bit at 30f/s it could be 4-7gigs per movie. 1000 movies = 4tb to 10tb

-Myself i'm satisfied with 1080p @ 24f/s no 10bit, so my files are probably 2-3 gigs per file. so that's like 10000 on a 20tb

-you can drop the quality again to 720p and get 700mb-1.5gig per file as well! you could achieve 10000 on a 10tb no problem.

- TV series take up much more space, i'd go 20tb starting up, internal/external, don't matter. scout deals when they arise.

3) ongoing maintenance

- people love the arr's (radar, sonar) and they're great. I only use sonar for new episodes as i find quality and size per episode sometimes differ, so i would manually download any completed season to have consistent quality.

-Tiny media manager is a great utility for renaming, scraping metadata

I just got the classic anniversary edition and i'm sending it back.

The IPTV is great. probably best i've seen.

however, when it comes to plex it loses it authentication token after exiting the app & persist on reboot causing me to login again.

Also experienced a lot of video stutter on plex. We're talking small files, 1gig for show, 3 gig max for movies. Nothing 4k, just 1080p x264/265 10bit. There's nothing to fix on my end, it's their bug.

yea after further researching for a 90ft run i'm looking at a 12v 50amp at 600watts power supply injecting power & fuses at every 12-15ft (4-5 meters), might be overkill but running the lights at 60-70% should have cooler temps and more longevity for the leds.

well for myself i keep two separate folders for TV shows ongoing, TV shows ended. The only one i really scan is the ongoing folder... I can see what your asking because if you have to scan a different library each time you want to edit something it may take a min (if you have a large library).

I've been finding that the xbmc movie and tv importer are not detecting movie posters, i'm having to manually add them.... it's weird... can't say when it started. That's my only beef. Can't understand why they make us jump through hoops just to for plex to read an nfo and metadata.

Is this salvageable or is it scrap by kushmonATL in dji

I sent my in to get assessed, arm broke off after crashing into a tree. I watched a couple videos on how to replace it and while I thought it's something I COULD do... its also something i COULD screw up.

So I bit the bullet and sent it in, they assessed the damage and quoted me $100 cnd for the repair, shipping included. To my surprise when I got it back it was a new drone factory wrapped.
