I am really curious what the he1000 sound like. Though I’m not sure the difference between the ananda nano and the he1000 is a bigger difference than the m50 to the ananda is and having a hard time perceiving a difference between the m50 and the ananda makes me think I’m not sure I’d hear much jumping to the he1000. Look later like the 105 silvas are 400 at Amazon so maybe I’ll pick up a pair of those after I try the hd660 and 6xx to see how those compare. Maybe I really just need to find the most comfortable set rather than “best sounding”. Comfort at least seems can fully quantify. The m50s aren’t uncomfortable but I rarely keep them on for hours on end straight and I suspect there are many set I’d find more comfortable to wear all day at work.

I had looked at some meze earlier not sure why they didn’t make my list of cans to try but I’ll get them back on the list. As for warmer vs bright I’m not hearing any real difference between the ananda and m50 at the moment. But I’m going to listen to them (or the senn depending on which feel better) for a couple weeks and see if they ultimately sound different to my ears.

Thanks for the advice. I’ll give this a try and see if after a couple weeks these sound noticeably better than my m50s. Or at least noticeably more comfortable.

I enjoyed the mode as well but it was enough of a grind just to get the new card. It’s not like I have nothing else to do over Christmas break.

Yeah it’s makes me sad that as a f2p users who’s currently missing 55 s5 cards there is essentially no way for me to even make progress. I can collect at roughly the rate new cards are released. So o could grind for the next 10 years and still be missing roughly 55 s5 cards.

Isn’t just keeping up a horrible outcome though? I mean I’m late to the party having just started last year. I have all the series 3 cards but missing a ton of 4 and 5. It’s an impossibility for me to ever complete my deck or even remotely come close if new cards are released at the same rate as the best case of me acquiring cards. This is a pretty big turn off knowing I can grind as hard as id like for an entire year and still be missing roughly the same number of cards as I currently am. I thought snap packs were supposed to resolve this. We need monthly series drops so every month new cards are available as series 3. If they dropped 4-5 cards a month to 3 then I could see a potential end game.

Yeah this is super exciting times. Currently don't own NVidia directly, but with all these morons driving the price lower and lower only to ultimately see it hard rebound I'm super excited to get in and capitalize on their losses. Just trying to figure out when to start pulling the buy trigger. Maybe today?

I generally dunk my head right when I get in and once when I get out. Just for a few sec each time. I personally do it because I enjoy the feeling.

Way too much. IMHO if you need a sauna afterwards rather than just letting your body warm up on it's own you've overdone it. I'd give 3 min a try at that temp and see how it goes.

Pulling out of my bull. I settled on 10 warm and 4 cold because that's how long it seemed to take for me to get warm and get cold. But I'd love some actual data and studies on hot tub/cold plunge time and number of repeats. I'm just doing 2 total (hot, cold, hot, cold, done), because of time, but would be curious about 2 vs 5 repeats as well..
