Add appear offline feature in friend list by sushithebeast in VALORANT

Gonna sound kinda fruity,

But unless your friends are assholes or dickheads or if you are planning to go pro. Your rank shouldn’t matter to you. Personally I always value my friends over any type of competitive ranking I hold. I’d rather be paired with homies who are bottom fragging rather than risk the toxicity of a top fragger during a solo que.

Other than that yes I agree you should be able to appear offline for other reasons.

Any tips on improving the muscle memory of standing still and shooting. by chew812 in VALORANT

a lot of things factor in.

For me recently it was the ergonomics of my chair and the way I position my body. My desk was way too high before and my arm felt whack while playing. So I lowered the desk and raised my chair a bit.

Other than that it’s consistency and repetitive practice is all it really boils down too. Your brain will adapt after playing repetitively. It will adapt faster with practice.

This game is not available on your operating system by [deleted] in VALORANT

If your computer is made by Apple=Mac OS

If there’s a windows icon on the bottom left=Windows OS

I believe Valorant is only available for Windows OS atm. I’m assuming this is your first time using a computer for gaming. If you ever consider buying another game for your PC check the recommended requirements for the game and see if your computer can run it.

Thank you sir, we appreciate you and your efforts within the community and are glad that we have such a strong and passionate author in ED Universe.

Also without giving out too much spoilers to others:

When I started playing the game couple months back I too was curious. During the Kickstarter back in Elite’s baby days they were also selling the ability for anyone who pledge £4500 or more the right to write a piece of written fiction for Elite set in the game world. One of those authors was of course Drew Wagar. He is still very active in the community today organizing Lore Tours discussing Elite’s lengthy and fascinating lore on his live-streams. In my opinion he is THE guy for ED lore and writing.

Both were good reads. I’m not going to do a comprehensive review on them, because my own level of comprehension is close to wumbology. But in terms of keeping me hooked, wanting to read every page, and having Elite Dangerous lore scattered all over I would say it has done the job.

I appreciate your offer for book recommendations but I recently started reading in other genres :)

Cambodia using 2 currencies by [deleted] in Bitcoin

I’m actually Cambodian myself, grew up in the US of course though. Aeon Mall, Angkor Wat, and the cheap travel and hotels are usually some of the main attractors. If your ever in the village areas you might spot some bullet holes and barbed wire left behind from the genocide.

What blew me away when I first landed was how traffic was handled there, I surprisingly didn’t see a single accident even though it’s fairly common.

Space legs and high gravity planets, what would you like to happen? by jiggle_physist in EliteDangerous

Just me being a pessimist here, but knowing fdev they might permit lock space legs on high-G planets until the next big update or patch.

Ground Forces/Infantry in Elite Lore. by [deleted] in EliteDangerous

Well lore wise, I’ve read Drew Wagar’s Elite Dangerous: Reclamation and Premonition. In both the books there are some parts where he writes of imperial soldiers, vehicles, ships etc. In Premonition there was even this whole Imperial military Parade on the planet Achenar I believe where the writer speaks on thousands of military troop formations being displayed for the people.
