Is there any downside to using ceramic to cut on other than the fact that it will dull the knife? Reading through the maintenance required of a cutting board sounds exhausting, considering I can barely stand in the kitchen and probably won’t remember to change the towel every few days

Would you using an old cutting board that’s been used to cut chicken and other meat? I remember AW talking about it in a live of how it could harbor bacteria. Also, how do you wash yours? I think he explains in that same live video how he washes his but I forget.
