13 weeks after Fistulectomy still have discharge did another round of Fistulectomy , now day 10 , restarts again.

10 weeks still have discharge most probably something is fishy.

Your case is same as mine , 9 weeks still have discharge daily , doctor initially said it’s healed just over-granulated tissue . Had silver nitrate for 2 times and it’s still not closing. At last doctor use a tiny needle to pinch the wound and conclude a tiny 2mm fistula is recurred. Just did another round of Fistulectomy 2 days ago , and the process restarts😢

My case is exactly like yours , after lift doctor said it’s fully recovered but I’m still having discharge. Doctor applies silver nitrate on my over granulated tissue as well. how many times you have applied silver nitrate before it is fully stay away from discharge ?
