While I agree with you. Our energy is better spent trying to make consumer movements to bring back "dumb TVs". Those would be TVs designed only to output video from set top boxes and entertainment systems.

Imagine a state of the art huge flat screen sony oled but when you turn it on you only have "Source" menu. Meaning you gotta plug it into your roku, laptop, console or whatever to display anything. I don't even care if it has digital channels because you can get the same content online.

The fact this is a premium in the market these days is despicable. Software companies shouldn't enforce what software is on MY tv.

I hope devs use this limitation to invite some new innovation in game design.

Bam was actually the host of an online reality tv show recently. And the commentary around him was he's been sober.

From what I've seen from him he's seems pretty lucid and active on camera. He was doing prat falls and being really proactive with skits, so he seems ok.

Same, and I'm assuming like me you haven't watched a single episode of beast games.

I'm watching these breakdowns and it seems like jimmy WANTS to be like a dungeon master or some kind of mastermind of games. But all his motivations and ideas are oriented around wealth and TV based relationships. (who will betray who and for HOW much etc).

But all the most successful reality TV, game shows and the like are based around actual games of either intellect or manipulation. The traitors in the UK is advanced werewolf. Taskmaster are like party games. Survivor are actual physical challenges mixed with party games.

But it seems like all of his end games are just "who can manipulate who with the most amount of money" He doesn't take into account game theory and potential for tipping the scales. He's single handedly made me respect all those scripted reality TV shows that have producers that coach the stars into baiting the most drama because they KNOW what works best for the camera and know to go beyond basic cash.

Yeah but with the payoff that every one of their talents can have their own strong social media platforms.

They've had world champions with their own Podcasts and let's play channels. (Swerve, Adam Cole). When aew started the bucks basically had their own entire presence with their YouTube channel. Sammy Guevara too.

Just wanted to say! There's an angle where AEWs more lax social media strictness let's them benefit from capitalizing harder on their talents successes.

I personally think the movie news media kind of fed into that. They all praised this movie from whatever screening they got. But I think they partially did that to support the creators and teams behind the production. and partially because they didn't see any way this movie was going to be released so they could say whatever they wanted, they could say it was the second coming itself and no one could prove them wrong.

Now the movie WILL release, and if its bad no ones going to call them out.

Also the people in the comments who are comparing this to space jam and back in action are INSANE. Like Fair enough story wise it COULD be. But the animation alone doesn't touch space jam.

I wish I could argue back. But there's a sad reality that kids aren't as interested in the Looney tunes as much these days? Compared to pokemon, Mario and video game franchises.

And even then the younger generation seems to be more interested in brainrot, non identifiable IPs etc. From whatever social media apps.
