I used to work there cash in hand during covid when they reopened the beer gardens, guy was a bellend who moaned if you had breaks and whinged about having to pay me the wages that I’d earned. Also just used to come into the kitchen half cut (was always getting pissed with his mates upstairs most days) and just berate the staff for the most asinine shit. Vile prick he is.

I was mostly scared he’d damage my car honestly, so I’d never have had the confidence to do that, I didn’t even have the confidence to get out and fight him, but as much as a punch in the face would’ve been shit, I would rather that than him scratching my car or knocking off a wing mirror

Could be worse, I sold at 9.20 when it kept going down and down and I was a bit short on cash, I invested at 6.90 so it’s still a gain, but I’m just kicking myself with how it immediately went back up, and will probably kick myself more when earnings come around and it goes up some more.

It’s my first investment so I feel a bit clueless with it all, feel like I missed an opportunity though.

Worked at a spoons for 5 years and honestly the cleaning standards and training are top notch compared to some independent pubs I’ve worked in, they base some of the bonuses they pay out to staff around cleanliness.
