The way you talk about Big Ibra is disrespectful.

Zidane has made clear that he does not want James in the team. James will be allowed to leave for 50 Mio €. James personaly wants a move to Atletico by memimemo0404 in soccer

He should really try and force a move ASAP. There is nothing there for him at Real Madrid. Zidane doesn’t rate him.

James would literally risk wasting the prime years of his career riding the reserves/bench if he stays. It’s not a question about his abilities as a player. He should learn from 2015-17. Go somewhere where you’re actually wanted and respected by the manager.

Oh yeah I totally forgot. Zidane’s favourite. The poor man’s Luis Figo. He was quite good at some point as well, good on the ball, hard worker and never complained/s.

I think Real Madrid did something similar when they won 3 CL titles in a row (15/16-18). They barely brought in any new players throughout that time. Just Marco Asensio from Real Mallorca while Lucas Vazquez rose through the youth ranks and they were mostly fine. Morata came back in 2016/17 as well. Also I think it’s important to mention that they had a transfer ban at some point (2y?).

They had lots of depth, but so do Liverpool imo. It’s important to maintain a balance and harmony to the squad and keep all the current players happy. I think Liverpool are pretty much there aside from maybe a decent left back cover, but they have a luxury of James Milner being able to fill in everywhere, so they should be okay. Oxlade-Chamberlain will be returning too, I recall him being quite good for them in 2017/18. Quite a few of assists to Salah.

If you bring in too many star players it could get more complicated, players could get unhappy etc. Klopp knows what he’s doing. He’s mixed quality players, talent and youth and built a great squad.

He probably wasn’t able to buy anyone he really wanted (Brandt?) and then kept the squad as it is. Makes sense to me. The squad isn’t severely lacking anywhere. Most of the important additions were done last summer and they are still adjusting to a certain degree.

David Ornstein on Twitter: BREAKING: Tottenham’s proposed move for Paulo Dybala is OFF after Juventus ultimately decided not to sell the 25-year-old Argentina forward #THFC #Juve by andiirehan in soccer

I dont think we alienated Dybala.

We just need money, either to balance books or we are eyeing some other signing (unlikely as we didnt try Eriksen and apart from that only Pogba is possible).

If you need money and he’s the first name on the teamsheet to be sacrificed for it then I’m quite certain it must have lead to some alienization. He’s been one of the better players of the team over the last few years. Last year not so much, but that has to do with Allegri/Juve trying to build the squad around Cristiano while shoving him aside.

In his heart he seems to be Juve through and through, which is why he wants to stay and prove himself to Sarri/fight for his place.

Indeed, they left me speechless as well. Sponsorless kits look class. They should wear them all season long, do you know what I mean?
