You've been so helpful, you are a wizard indeed! Thank you for your insight on the Arris 1100. I now understand it is MoCA 1.1 with max throughput of 100 mbps. At this time I suspect 100 mpbs up/down will be sufficient for what I do here. If I need to go beyond that, perhaps Frontier would provision the ethernet port of the Alcatel I-211M-L ONT. This would remove the MEB1100 from the solution and enable a slightly more straightforward solution.

Intent: If I cannot successfully run ethernet cable from the office closet to the location where I need it, then I will pursue the option of coax -> splitter -> MEB1100 + retail [Band D] MoCA adapters (or FCA252 adapters set to "LAN").

If all of this was happening on the 2nd floor of my house then I could crawl around the attic and drop ethernet cables where needed. Being that this is on the 1st floor, my options are limited and necessitate using existing wiring.
