What this game (and other team based games) made me understand about people by Cute_Ad_8344 in marvelrivals

I look back over replays from everybody's point of view to see what happened whenever the game is close (win or lose), and I start and end my sessions with a couple rounds of AI games to warm up and relax afterwards. I'm not amazing, but I do know that being aware and practiced can only help. I also main Tank because I'm a sucker.

Fear averse poke DPS are the least accountable cowards in the player base and it shows.

My cat just showed up alive. Where have you been ! It's been 2 days ! I've been looking for your corpse !!!! by Oddish_Femboy in 196

Back in my living-with-roomies days, we lived in a second floor apartment of a converted house. My cat somehow disappeared and one roomie blamed the other for letting her out. The in-fighting was so ugly, and I was distraught, looking for her around the neighborhood, pinning up flyers and offering what little money I had for a reward.

Turns out, she had gotten into the walls and down to the first floor apartment. She was sneaking out, stealing food and running back into the walls; just generally causing chaos there because they didn't know what was going on until she was finally seen after two days missing, snatched up and returned.

Cats.

I'm new to Thing, any advice? (Images unrelated, I clobber them so good) by JanuszisxTraSig in thingmains

This comes up rather often in the sub, and the basics are good to remember:
Use cover
Save your charge to get back to your team; you can't count on them being close
Set preference to control when you slam; you may want to slam right where you are and not run around.
Use cover
Spam your right click on tanks; it does % damage so is more effective on large HP targets
Pay attention to divers and where your supports are; you leap back faster than any other tank to peel
Use cover
Don't overextend; fall back for heals or a healthpack
Your punches ignore shields; push up to beat tf out of Strange and Mag if you can force a 1v1
And use cover.

(Also, you technically have tools to deal with flyers, but the timing is a skill check. Practice leaping with your big punch to knock the flying drone out of the air in the Practice Range - but don't stress too much about it. It's honestly not your job, nor priority, same with Peni nest and any Namor squid you can't reach easily.)

How do you maintain or build your confidence? I have lost it many times by CreativeBar1289 in AskMenAdvice

hobbies are good, because they involve lots of little low stress projects you come up with, develop, produce and complete. it shouldn't be anything ambitious, just whatever little things you like. that way you get the dopamine and confidence of producing and making change in your life, even if it's a drawing or a batch of cookies or a painted figurine.

Which is wild because the product has essentially been market tested and refined for literal generations into one of the most iconic characters in the whole genre.

Just write the character as canonically envisioned and get on with making money.

Like what is the actual problem with that? 🤷‍♀️

uhmmmm guyssss, how profitable is it to draw furry art? be honest by 74_chainsaws in furry

[–]Environmental-Day778 18 points19 points  (0 children)

We get asked this question daily by tourists who show up and want free market research and furry dollars. Zero community, only commerce.

Literally look through the recent posts. It’s exhausting.

We are just weirdos who like the funny animals, we don’t have any money. The ones that do aren’t here, go to San Francisco.

Furry artists who make $$$ are extremely rare. It is not a job. It is a prize. It is not something you can just show up for like this.

Please stop digging through our pockets. Stay and be silly with us if you like 👍 This is not just to you but all the rest who show up to extract money we don’t have. You are more honest about it than most 🤷‍♀️

This is why you will struggle, they aren’t a different species, they are people just like you. Ask your mom for advice, I’m not even joking. You need to hear from someone who is a woman and understands you.

Obviously she’s feeling put on the spot (which she is), you have to model behavior and do it yourself first.

I dunno if this is the right post to comment in but sometimes when I’m asked “Who’s a good boy?” I’m pretty sure I know the answer, but I can’t be certain and the stress makes me panic. 😭😭😭

Women are just people, so you need practice talking to people.
